Bucks Trade:
#13 #23 2013 1st (Spurs)
Rockets Trade:
Rights to Andre Drummond
I accept. I'm giving up three 1st's but I feel the potential is there for Drummond to do good things in the league. Pairing him next to Anthony Davis will give me one of the best young front courts in the league.

After my favourite player in the draft got picked at 7th, Michael Kidd-Gilcrest, I saw this pick as expendable.
The reason mostly for this trade to stockpile more picks for now and the future. I feel that this is draft has truly maybe 3-5 stars and then drops off but also this draft is really deep, so picks at 23rd could provide necessary role players for the future.
So I accept this trade and I do hope that Bucks do succeed with Drummond/Davis as their front court for the future.

Guess I'll just put my main thought right out there
I don't particularly like that, in essence, the #8 pick is being moved for #13, 23, and a 1st next season.
I do understand Drummond's upside is among the highest in this very good class, and I don't really think I'll reject it, but I do not like it very much right now.
Although, Otis has shown an ability to pull some solid trades off, and going after Drummond to pair with Davis is definitely a good strategy, I just think on value he is giving up a little too much.
Anyway, Spurs' 1st is just too likely to be pretty late next season, and I don't think it's quite enough for me to reject, so I am going to accept it.
Approve.
