I accept, it may be the wrong decision in the long term if Leonard and whoever is selected at 8th pan out... but this trade gives me a high flyer that can team up along with Aldridge.

As the rockets GM I accept this deal. Nice working with you boys. You too! I accept as well. I feel like Gallinari is a good young prospect, who is perhaps better than anyone available at #3. No one really stood out to me at the spot, while I also get a pick at #10. It will be interesting to see who I get it, as it is impossible to know who will be there in a deep draft like this. Additionally, Gallinari fills a need and fits in VERY WELL with my new up tempo line up of Lillard/Thornton/Gallinari/Williams/Ibaka with a bench of Jack/Barea/Crawford. Once again, nice trading with Portland and Houston, and I feel as though today was a success for the Kings!

Gents...I think the salaries are going to need adjusted. Since this is technically the off season for teams out of the playoffs, I believe ALL the first year contracts on every player in this deal need to be dropped to the next year. I sent a PM to Ian asking about this very thing today and am awaiting an answer.

Wow, Rex made some pretty suspect moves during the season. Trading Tyreke for Derrick Williams and trading away Cousins at all had me scratching my head. But I gotta say Lillard is a great pick and moving down 7 spots for Gallinari is an excellent trade.

If salaries are based off of next year, then I have a lot of players that won't need to be moved haha.

Cousin isn't that much better than Ibaka, and it turns out I got Lillard in the deal. Also, if you want to get technical, I traded the other pick I got for Crawford. Therefore, that trade turned into.... Crawford Lillard Ibaka for Cousins. If you stay the same as a particular franchise then you will never get better. The Kings suck in real life because they don't trade their pieces. I mean is Cousin REALLY that good? The other trade was a gamble, but if Williams becomes what he should then I win. If not, then my team still sucks and it helps my pick. The part of that trade I liked most was Barea and Hill for Thomas, if you can believe that.

I think this deal will pay off enormously for Houston in one or two seasons time, I think he gets by far the best pieces in this deal, in fact I'm really impressed how he's put this together.
The trade might pay off for Sacramento, might not, depends who he takes at #10 and how they pan out. This draft is so deep any one of about 15 players could end up being All Stars. I think it's most likely this trade will just water-down his talent pool, which is never advisable, but then again who knows what can happen at #10 this year, there's a pretty good chance you'll get someone better than Gallinari.
I think Portland loses out hugely, but not enough to reject. I'm really not a fan of Rudy Gay, he's like a shorter, weaker Josh Smith heading towards the point in his career when his number 1 asset, his athleticism, will plateau and begin to fade. Kawhi Leonard has been billed by Popovich as the Spurs next go-to guy, which is as good an indication as you're going to get, and this is a deep draft where the 8th pick could land you a real star, but whatever it's not enough to reject.
I accept.

Houston got a nice haul after this trade. He gets a very nice young player in Leonard as well as two very good picks in a deep draft. I really like it for Houston.
Sacramento got a nice little deal as well. While I'm not sure he got enough for the #3 pick, he adds a proven player in Gallinari with some upside still and a top 10 pick still. He probably could have gotten a little more but I don't think it's enough to reject a trade.
Portland got the short end of the stick in this deal if I had to pick someone that got shafted. Gay is a good player, but I'm not so sure I would have given up Leonard AND a top 10 1st in a good draft. With that said, Portland still has a nice core of players and adding Gay will give him another big time scoring option with Aldridge.
I accept this deal.

Incoming: $15,032,144 Outgoing: $9,591,472
Damn this trade is big lol. Ok, so Kings first: Dropping from #3 down to #10, and got Gallinari and a guy I like in Koufos. There's an argument to make that he won, and I actually like his side better. It is #3 in a great class, so I'm not going to veto, but Kings wins his part of the deal IMO. Rockets next: If we do the reverse of the Kings' deal and say that Rockets moved from 10 to 3 and gave up Gallinari to do so, I guess we can call that about a wash, since it doesn't include Koufos in there. I happen to like Gallinari a whole lot, so I think he lost already by doing this part of the deal...but there are different values around, and again, it is the #3 pick in a wonderful draft class, so I'll let that be a wash. Now we're left with him moving Rudy Gay for Kawhi and #8, and I'm fine with that. I think, as may have been mentioned, he could win that part of the deal, but Gay is a proven All-Star player at the moment, and Kawhi is an up-and-coming guy and #8 is unproven (though likely to be solid...could be good or great! lol). Anyway, nothing in there to reject. I think those two halves even out pretty well, he could easily lose the trade, or he could come out a big winner, which means it's a solid deal value-wise, IMO. Blazers: Basically, gives Kawhi/8/Koufos for Gay. I already talked about Kawhi/8 for Gay, and while I dig Koufos, he's not enough to make a dent in this trade one way or the other at the moment, so, I don't have any rejectable problem with this thing. Anyway, I think Kings probably ends up winning this thing. Again, I'm a Gallinari fan, so take that for what it's worth, but yea. Approved by me.

Do I have to pick by tomorrow or is today the deadline? I believe you get 48 hours from the last pick, which was 47 hours ago. So, as soon as possible? I'm sure Ian would give an extension though since you just got the pick. But honestly, the draft started more than 80 hours ago and there has only been 2 picks, it is kind of getting ridiculous.
