With the playoff coming to a close, and the Raptors making drastic changes and progress towards the future. Head Honcho RC Buford will be stepping down as General Manager of the team early into the off season. His successor will be Jerry Colangelo.
The future is uncertain for Mr. Buford, he may remain as in a advisory role with the Raptors, or he may pursuit other options. One thing is for sure Jerry Colangelo will lead this team to new heights.
At this time Mr. Buford will take any questions you may have.

Interesting. Will you be pursuing the Memphis Grizzlies job or the potential opening in Chicago?

The future is uncertain for the time being, off the record I do have some real life stuff I have to handle which is why I'm stepping down. But maybe by xmas my schedule will be free and if those teams are still free who knows.
On the record I will be stepping down when I sign big V to this rookie contract.

Oh well, he probably is smart enough not to give up the #2 pick in the draft

Is it because Dennis Rodman, aka "D-Rod Da God" didn't accepted the move to Toronto on the beggining of the season?

Is it because Dennis Rodman, aka "D-Rod Da God" didn't accepted the move to Toronto on the beggining of the season? I was quite disappointed he did make the jump to the great white north. However my decision to step down was a personal choice, D Rod has even invited me to go partying in the off season.
