I hate to do this to one of my favorite all time players, but Melo needs to be lowered again. He's just not good anymore. Not even above average really.

He averaging 16, 6 and 1 assist (!) shooting only 36% from deep, which is not good given that almost all his shots are wide open catch and shoots. His overall true shooting is a putrid 50.7 one of the worst in the league given his usage.

His defense was never good but it's definitely gotten much worse this season just from watching. He shoots only 56% from inside 3 feet, which is just awful.

He never was a great passer but his 6.4 assist% is hilariously bad.

The only thing he's even average at anymore is rebounding and I think that's mostly because Steven Adams is such a good box out man.

I don't really disagree greatly BUT many will cite Wiggins' athletic's for reason for some of his rating. Melo definitely doesn't have that, ijs.

I'm not sure exactly who you're referring to but I'd bet Carmelo is way more inefficient than those guys
