I'm not going to write an essay, it just seems pretty obvious Murray is legit. Him, Harris and Jokic are the core-3 players in Denver and they're probably playoff bound this year. Murray's not just a pure scorer but also the Nuggets point guard and facilitator.
Since November: 18.3ppg 3.9apg 3.3rpg
with splits of 48.1/45/91.2

How is his defense? Advanced stats show he is not good but they don’t always tell the full story. And the Nuggets are 26th in team defense rating.
His scoring looks nice, but he doesn’t do much else. The Nuggets are a bit weird with the offense going through Jokic, so I don’t expect Murray to get that many assists, but his assist % to turnover % is not good for a guard.

Defense is still definitely weakness. But I think lot of it is caused also that opposing teams are targeting Jokic with P&R all the time, and Murray is often guarding the ball handler. That is not a great situation even for good defenders. Offensively definitely in starter level
