Hello ladies and gentlemen,
It's been a great year in sim league and the next coming months of playoff basketball and the offseason are sure to be intense and fun to watch!
I am holding this press conference today, to let the fans ask me questions about the Milwaukee Bucks organization. Since my arrival and subsequent takeover as full time GM, succeeding Oscar Robertson, I have yet to talk to the public about my goals and aspirations as the GM of the Bucks and where I plan on taking them.
It has been a down year, but after dealing Monta Ellis to the Pacers during the year, I can safely say we are FINALLY going in full rebuild mode. The next few seasons will be very difficult, and we are sure to see struggles as we bring in young talent. We hold 4 picks in this upcoming 2012 draft. We feel this will be a very good start to help revitalize this organization and bring new life to a Bucks team that has been on the outside looking in for a number of years.
If you have any questions regarding the Bucks organization, please feel free to ask away and I will answer them as best to my ability. Have a great day!

"Do you feel as if Brandon Jennings is a player you can build your team around or are you simply going to try to strike a homerun elsewhere to find that franchise guy?"

Brandon Jennings has been a very pleasant surprise for the Milwaukee Bucks organization. After forgoing his college years and opting to play overseas in Italy for a year, we were more than skeptical of how he would fair as an NBA prospect. Fortunately for us, he is showing signs of becoming a very good player in this league. With that said, we do feel that Brandon still has a lot of work to do in order to get to that "Next level." With this years draft, we are hoping to bring in a few young guys to build a strong core overall, and hopefully find that perennial all-star that the Bucks organization has been lacking since 2003 when Michael Redd made the all-star team.
It's not a secret that the Bucks are finally in a rebuilding mode after all these years of trying to make the playoffs with the 8th seed. Times needed to be changed and for myself, I was sick of seeing this team be just good enough to get into the playoffs and get swept, but not bad enough to get a good spot in the draft to start building up a team that could really compete in the coming years. With Jennings, Harris, Davis and the draft picks we stockpiled, we feel we have a real chance to start building that core of talented young players and take that next step into becoming a championship contender. Unfortunately for this organization, adding franchise type players via free agency is not an option. We are hoping to hit on a few draft picks that can help turn us around and maybe that will help feed our free agency aspirations, but until that happens, we'll do what we can with our picks, and with a little luck, we can get some very talented franchise players to build around.
In essence we hope Brandon can blossom into that franchise player but as of now, we will continue to evaluate all our young players and keep scouting up and coming players that we can bring in and hopefully be the face of this great organization. FEAR THE DEER WILL RISE AGAIN!
