Been busy all day, haven't been able to explain myself for the team swap. Here you go:
It was a Sunday evening when I first got the call from Vivek Ranadive. My wife had made Macaroni and Cheese for dinner. It was the character Mac n’ Cheese, Spongebob to be exact. The noodles taste better, it’s not up for discussion. Deal with it. Anyways, the phone rang and the caller ID displayed his name. I knew it wasn’t going to be a pleasant conversation, not just because he interrupted my favorite meal, but our team was struggling to get above .500. Although we had just won our game against Boston, it was by a measly 1 point. Unconvincing to say the least. The conversation went as expected. I hung up the phone disappointed and continued on with my meal. That night, as I lay in bed going over the conversation that took place, I realized bringing a championship to Sacramento this season wasn’t possible. It’s championship or bust for me, so I needed to jump ship quick before I was blamed for all of the failures.
That’s why I will be on my way home, back to Detroit, to manage the Pistons. A team that couldn’t possibly dip any lower.
This was one of the easiest decisions I’ve made during my time here at D5. An opportunity that will build my character. An opportunity to grow as a man and to raise a family in one of the greatest cities in the world; Rochester, Michigan, because there’s no way I’m raising a family in Detroit. The commute won’t be that bad. All of this will allow me to redeem myself and prove, without a doubt, that I am the best GM in the league. No more nightmares of losing to some of the shittiest teams in the league because I now manage the shittiest team in the league. No more stress. I’m jumping ship to a team that’s expected to lose, and it feels good.
In all seriousness, I wish Ghazny Dimalen the best in managing the Kings, and I thank Ian Noble for allowing this switch to happen. At the risk of sounding cheesy, the Kings will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will continue to follow them through their successes and failures. I’m rooting for them. I also want to thank Walt Frazier for driving Vlade Divac off of the edge, making him go full psycho and quitting the league. This would not be possible without you.
I’m looking forward to the daunting and challenging task of managing the Pistons.

Welcome to the East, where we have slowly been amassing D5's young talent for years, and occasionally sending James Kay or Shaquille O'Neal to the finals to win championships so the West doesn't notice what we're actually up to . You'll fit right in here.

That was beautiful and heartfelt Chauncey. Is someone cutting onions in here? I'm not crying, you're crying!

So instead of leaving after his free agency buys didn't get him into the playoffs he just trades his team.

This is the part where I act all smug and tell you that your team sucks.

On a somewhat serious note, I have a question. Chauncey, you say you are all in, Championship or bust. So your first team was not going to win a championship and you jump ship to another team in something that is only been allowed basically once before with Barber and sort of Billy. So my question is this:
If the Pistons are not on track to win the championship in the 2018-2019 season, does that mean you're just going to quit the league?

If I was that concerned about winning it all I would have never switched. I love basketball, the Pistons and the D5 fam, that's what matters. I am really excited about turning this franchise around though. The sooner, the better, but patience is key.

Trust me, I am not in the slightest bit interested in coming back to this sim league; my new favorite player, Kawahi, and I cannot stand to be bullied by intolerant progressive liberal assholes. Walt freed my yahoo account from the corresponding fantasy football account, so I have no standing to sue him nor anyone else. Despite your petty little shit, I do you all of you guys the best of luck including you, Chauncey.

Internet..."GM's" aside, I'm not the pro-basketball and football players who cannot do that; Rather, I would shut the fuck up, play basketball, and enjoy my amazing life if I were a pro-athlete. Keep it up, though, as I am convinced all of this idiocracy will help Donald Trump get reelected in 2020.

I bought NBA Live 16 and am keeping my skills sharp. My Xbox Game Tag is Tebowskywalker if anyone wants to play NBA Live or Star Wars Battle Front 2. Also, I might buy Injustice 2 if I had someone to play with.

Hell, I am happy because it saved me about $70 a month since I only had cable to watch pro football. The government actually censors speech in Canada, however. www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/ann-coulter-firestorm-canada-telling-muslim-camel-alternative-flying-article-1.172308

No one in the United States is disputing that the NFL Players have the right to protest. Hell, I am happy because it saved me about $70 a month since I only had cable to watch pro football. So you recognize they have the right but are so angry they exercise it that you now boycott the NFL? Well sure, that's your right, but it comes across a little foolish. I'm not sure where to begin because this is so stupid. Are you saying that cancelling Ann Coulter's event is censoring speech? If so, you don't understand the right to free speech. I'm pretty sure we've had this same argument before. Please understand these two things: 1. The right to express yourself is not the right to a platform. 2. The right to express yourself does not mean you have the right to be free from the consequences of the shitty things you say. Fuck Ann Coulter. It's kind of embarrassing anyone would even schedule her for an event in the first place. She says bigoted things and panders to social conservatives to whip up drama and rage so she can profit. I also believe she's playing a character, she's a pretty horrible person, but I doubt she really believes a lot of the things she says. She says them because it's what the morons who follow her would like to believe. She's just saying what these people want to hear. This is pretty common among the right wing media. Rush Limbaugh, Nancy Grace, Alex Jones, the entirety of Fox News, etc. If you follow and believe the bullshit that comes out their mouths, you're being manipulated. So yeah, it's kind of encouraging to see that so many people weren't taking Ann Coulter's bullshit that the event had to be cancelled.

Don't waste your time.
