I've been contemplating if I should put up another thread for a while, but Sabonis has sustained his high level of play for the entire season so I think it is time he gets his due.
12.6 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 2.1 apg, 0.5 spg, 0.5 bpg, 2.0 tov 53.6% FG, 36% 3p (although he has only shot 25 threes)
He does all of the above in just 25.6 mpg. If you look at per 36:
17.7 ppg, 11.9 rpg, 3.0 apg, 0.7 spg, 0.7 bpg, 2.8 tov
He is super efficient offensively and always seems to make good decisions. He is a team player and I think he is a big reason for the Pacers success. He is actually not bad defensively either. His DBPM is 0.3 this season. He puts up a PER of 18.7 and has 3.7 Win Shares, despite coming off of the bench for most games and playing just 25.6 minutes.
He is currently a 76, but his statistics are much more in line with an 80 rated player, especially playing a big role on a winning team. He does have issues, such as getting in foul trouble, but overall he continues to develop into an extremely solid player.
Suggested rating: 80

"For the entire season", he says, when we're not at the all-star break yet. Yes, entire season so far, sure, but my point will be he needs to prove it a bit longer.
Doesn't feel like an 80 player to me yet, but I'll go 78

Are we still limiting stock watches to two a player per season? I believe this was discussed, but not sure if anything came of it. I don't mind two stock watches, but I don't want to do 3,4,5 for the same player. There has been plenty of players this year that have gotten two watches already I believe.
Anyways, 78

Anyways, 79 Agree we're already a bit too reactionary (on the whole, as a league). I really think, unless in super extreme instances, we should ever have more than 2 stock watch threads for a player. This could also lead to a discussion about when is too early to post a stock watch in the season? I really think we should wait until at least December real life. And then, again and less and extreme instance of growth or decline happens which should be rather rare, probably should have at least a month if not two months in between Stockwatch thread openings. Just my thoughts, no rules here, I don't make rules anyway, but I think something along those lines should at least be an agreed-upon procedure for most of the league.

Should be 80 if he is athletic. He is not.
