Celtics fans are buzzing about reports that 20 year old rookie center Enes Kanter has managed to shed weight that will make him more mobile as a big man in the paint in the future. The reports centre around two recent Twitter posts from those working in and around the organisation: @djjazzyjody Kanter lost 51 pounds in the past two months.
@tribjazz Enes Kanter had a salad an seafood diet. Said he went from 293 to 242 pounds in two months. Reciting his old diet now. You don’t wanna know. After the Celtics acquired Kanter in an early season trade with the Utah Jazz he's become the focus of many fans hope for a future beyond the Big-3 era in Boston as well as for this year's D5 Playoffs with a potential that can only come from last year's 3rd pick in the draft.

If only he didn't have to fight Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap and Derrick Favors for playing time he might get more than 20 minutes per game and bump up his rating to where his talent level probably is.
