Current: 93 Proposed: 96 My entire reasoning is thus: James Harden and Russell Westbrook are each rated 96. Steph is rated 93. This is wrong.

I'm a bit torn, however I think Curry is clearly less athletic than those two. Both rebound better than curry too.
I'd like to look at Curry's build again though, and I kind of remember 93 feeling a little too low.
Edit, read James' post... I will say, there could still be other areas that could need to come down. However, all told, I'll give him the 96.

Where are you going to put that 45 attribute points Ian? Not sure, but rating Steph 3 points less overall that Harden and Westbrook aint right!

Where are you going to put that 45 attribute points Ian? Stat: Current - Suggested = Difference OFF Aware: 94 - 98 = 4 FG: 91 - 96 = 5 3PT: 96 - 99 = 3 (How the greatest shooter of ALL TIME isn't maxed in this stat is beyond me). FT: 90 - 93 = 3 Inside Scr: 45 - 80 = 35 (Curry is so crafty inside, he's such an underated finisher. 45 at this stat is criminally low, honestly looks like a mistake lol) Handle: 91 - 95 = 4 Total points that need to be added: 54 Curry is absurdly good, is knocking down jump shots with crazy precision this year, shooting 60% on long twos. The best shooter we've ever seen - better than people even imagined possible - should be given proper ratings in D5.

Dunk represents better, what you are talking about.

FUCK YOU Just kidding. What did James say he was, a 96? So, in 2014-15 and 2015-16 he shot 44.3 and 45.4% from 3. In 2016-17 he "only" shot 41%. That's a pretty big decrease. Of course he's still a great 3pt shooter, so I left it up pretty damn high. But, if 41% is a 99, what the hell is 45% (which, that was on 11.2 attempts per game, when his 41% was on 10.0 attempts per game). Cut me a little slack. Plus, the league voted to decrease him 45 points. Probably unnecessarily, so that's what'll happen.

Is there no added weight for volume when it comes to rating for 3pt?

Is there no added weight for volume when it comes to rating for 3pt? Some implicitly, yes. But again, if 11 attempt 45% is a 99, 10 attempt 41% at a 96 is really not that crazy lol The other rating tied into this, which could be what you were talking about, is the actual percent of shots that are from 3-point range rating. That's easy for me to calculate, and always updated at every rating change. However, how NBA Live uses that, I'm not certain whether accurate.

96
Currently shooting 39.4% & 35.4% in the sim. At this same point last year he was shooting 46.4% & 39.8% in the sim.
IRL he is shooting 49.2% & 42.1% respectively and leads the NBA in TS% at .673. Arguably the greatest shooter and shooter off the dribble to ever play the game.
Don't have a lot of time right now and will post more later about where he can be increased.
