Current Rating: 83 Suggested Rating: 79
I know there will be argument's that his numbers have dropped so much because he is on a dysfunctional team now in the Kings, but when a 31 year old guard who has never had much athleticism has a drastic drop in production... it might be time to recognize he is on the decline. He is still deadly from deep, but his playmaking and scoring has definitely taken a hit overall.
9.1 ppg, 2.6 apg, 3.2 rpg, 0.8 spg, 0.2 bpg, 1.6 tov
42% overall field goal 43.8% from three

If it's too early to submit a Ben Simmons or Jayson Tatum thread because they're just rookies starting out, maybe it's too early to start a thread on a ten-year veteran coming off a year with career highs across the board? Then again, he does play for my team now.

Maybe, I actually wonder if we should implement some type of rule... maybe you need 30 games played before you can take into account current-season statistics for rating changes? Or is that too slow of a process?

Possibly, but I think in this instance it's pretty crazy to think Hill is a completely different player now just because he's moved to Sacramento, which is admittedly the worst managed team in the world.

This is way too early. George was terrific last season including in the playoffs. More than deserving of his 83 rating

Yeah I'm not voting on Hill till the all star break. Why the fuck he's sign in Sacramento is mind bogling to me.

Then again, he does play for my team now. I agree with this. I strongly feel that 1. both rookies and vets need till December to really adjust, especially when they change teams, and 2. pre-season stock watch is kind of dumb, the activity is lower than normal, not that some of the people not present would actually participate but.... This is also why the first batch of ratings don't usually come in till early Feb, we leave these open for a long time and it is harder to sift back through everything and find all the posts, and then you have people re-making threads as well

FWIW, yea I agree too. I wish there would be no threads allowed until at least mid-December. Maybe a week before we start simming games?
If a player fully deserves his boost/decline, it will just be futher proven by that time. If things have changed due to more data, then we'll get a better and more accurate vote and build.
I hate the push for ratings so early...
