Reason:
The SA Spurs Accept..
The Spurs went into the off-season looking for a way to get Jonas Valanciunas to re-sign. He was not going to sign any contract offered by our franchise because we had no where near the cap. We knew this was coming, but we had hoped we could trade a few guys and wheel and deal to get the roster legit for the upcoming season.
We were offered several deals leading up to and during Free Agency. To re-signJonas we would have to trade Isaiah and although we recently put him on the block, it was not our intention or a realistic move I would have made. Within reason!
In our last trade with Toronto and Brooklyn, we showed our hand and offered maybe more than we should have. In all honesty, it was fair but not for a franchise as active and driven as my franchise.
The GMs of the Raptors and the Nets stayed active and committed. I though did not want to budge and move Rudy Gay. This trade Keeps Thomas, Rose and Gay and trades two ex teammates for one another, while bringing in promising youth.
With this trade we need to add in FA and hope the roster meshes like it did before Roses injury last season. At that time the season looked Promising!!
We wish all the players and GMs involved luck, and to our new guys- "Welcome to the Spur Family..now let's WIN"!-

Not my best trade ever but it cleans up my roster. Plus this is another work of cap magic that is too good to not post.

Wow San Antonio just squeaks under the 125% limit. This trade is way better than the last one, which in hindsight makes the rejecting of that trade a net positive.
I think I'd still prefer to just hang on to Millsap, but I can see how this might make SAS a better team overall. I think that rating decrease for Horford is coming though...
Still, a pretty good trade all around.
I accept.

I feel a whole lot better about this trade. Good job all. I even think removing those DRs makes it even more fair as I thought it was unnecessary before.
Anyway, I Accept.

I wonder what JRs team would look like without all the rejected trades where he would argue for 5 pages and then post a better deal for his team the next day.

Honestly my trades are not rejected alot. Ive posted many trades since joining the league. Most of my trades have been accepted. My team wouldn't be much different at all.
All this talk about how bad my team has been and how I manage them yet we win and never tank.

I wonder what JRs team would look like without all the rejected trades where he would argue for 5 pages and then post a better deal for his team the next day. The 30 and over rec league team I would take a bunch of vet players that have won and are playoff ready, then a bunch of unknowns that get traded, sit at the back of a teams bench, get injured and never recover, or never amount to much. I choose players that have and are all-stars, and those role players that know how to win. The few youngsters i do pick don't amt to much. Sure it's fun, but I'm here to win. I'll ALWAYS stick to my blueprint. Win or lose...we play to WIN!!
