Which brings me to another question...if only 1 of the 2 could happen, would you rather win a D5 title or see your favorite NBA team IRL win a title??

I have to say - I am amazed that OKC achieved this Finals berth. Golden State always dominates here, I thought they would come back. And there's been some really epic results this series too, including this last game for sure! I'm a bit stunned really. I feel for you Mr Mullin.

Aaron Brooks stats for the series: 22.7 ppg, 6.7 apg, 2.0 rpg, 54.1 FG%, 50.0 3P%
When a 78 rated player plays like a superstar, then I guess this result makes a little more sense.
I can't decide if I like this since sims shouldn't be totally predictable, or if NBA Live is a piece of shit bit of software that can't sim with any sense of logic and can't see that a team made up of Lebron, Steph, Klay, Pau and a bunch of other solid vets would dominate the shit out of any other team.

My theory is that having so much fire power down low really draws attention from the guards, combined with the lack of rim protection you're gonna get from Diaw and Pau as your centers.
Still though... Who knows what's going on inside the sim lol

If Anthony Morrow decided to not blow this year and got the boost I was expecting then you'd have had that legit 6th man I think your team needed.
Don't forget LBJ needs to be a primary ball handler and doesn't always make his team mates better IE K Love.
Good season regardless Chris even with stacked teams it can be hard to get this deep in the West.

The Sim love OKC because their offensive hierarchy is very clear. And Cousins and Durant can pass so they can always find Brooks and Barnes who are battling inferior defenders. And, OKC has the best scoring 6th man in the league.

Well....shit. Ian Noble just rip my heart out 2 games in a row why don't you. Congrats to OKC & Kevin Hollis on a well played series and good luck in the Finals. Crazy thing is they are playing without Tyreke Evans and Mike Conley and still won the West! That's unheard of, even in sim world. Im picking the Thunder to win it all in 5 games, they are rolling right now! Extremely disappointing ending to the season. I really thought we had enough firepower to win it all again, but when you're dealing with a video game I guess you never really know how things will play out. We won 65 games this year and made it to the conference finals for the 3rd straight year but without the ultimate prize it all seems meaningless. Our #1 priority now becomes resigning LeBron James and Klay Thompson.

After GSW's cap hold on Klay's contract, they'll have enough to pay Lebron the max.
Curry Klay (6.3 million dollar cap hold) Lebron (32.2 million dollar max) Pau Gasol Boris Diaw Jarret Jack Channing Frye Jimmer Fredette (2.7m) in space
Not saying he won't re-sign, because Curry/Klay/Bron is a hell of a big three, but it's kind of a hard drop off after Pau Gasol ( who will be 36 next season ) Diaw (34 yrs) Frye (33 yrs)

Lol Lebron signing a deal in the stacked conference? Right. Collins might say it in a bit of a dick way, but he's got a good point. Something we have to at least consider. He's never played in the Western Conference IRL. Was only there in the sim due to trade which he had no control over. Not the only consideration, but it IS a consideration. Depending on the PA, we'll see.

And LeBron has never been on the same team IRL with the 2 best shooters in the league. Both of who are just entering the primes of their careers. Given how IRL LeBron wants to be surrounded by shooters I think thats a pretty big thing to consider as long as we're considering things.
I guess we will just have to wait and see how things play out once OSFA begins.
