Blazers Trade:
81 Jamal Crawford $5,000,000 $5,225,000
Total: $5,000,000
Kings Trade:
70 Nazr Mohammed $3,750,000 2013 NOH 1st Round pick
Total: $3,750,000
I accept, my team is on a major downfall now so we might as well start to build for the future.

I accept. I feel as though Crawford will have a rebirth on the Clippers in real life, and the Hornets pick should not be worth what I originally thought it would be. Nice trading with you Blazers, as we've been trying to make this deal for awhile!

How can you guys accept a trade that includes a 6th man of the year that can score 20+ on any given night for a future pick and a scrub? My thing is its a 2013 first which won't be a top 10 pick, because I don't see Hornets team being that bad next season. Not only that most sim leagues are lucky to go past the 1st season. Not saying that it won't but Crawford is at least worth a 2012#1!!!! Just sayin....

I'm no one. Just speaking opinion. Nothing else going on. I'm sure though you could have got a draft pick this season though!

Even with the pick most likely out of the top 10, the 2012 draft is very deep and I feel as though you could get a player that could help your team just as much as Crawford can, and will be cheaper and much younger. Obviously just my opinion and others might consider Crawfords value to be a lot higher. Just speaking from someone who loves to build through the draft I suppose lol.

I'm more OK with this 1st round pick trade than I am with the Jordan Hamilton one. I see what you are saying Spurs but Crawford really doesn't have a TON of interest around the league in real life...a couple teams are interested in him each offseason but it's the same ones, then he goes to a team and they decide they don't quite need him.
He's great on a developing team, takes a scoring load, can handle the rock if needed and even play some PG...but on a good team, he's a solid bench guy at best.
The 1st may not be a top 10, but it's younger and cheaper than Crawford.
Accept.

I don't see how this trade suits Sacramento's situation as a rebuilding team, like Portland are.

I don't see how this trade suits Sacramento's situation as a rebuilding team, like Portland are. Because I am getting a good deal for Crawford. I think he is worth more than NOH's 2012 1st and can either be good trade bait, or allow me to trade Thornton in a package for a better player and he can step in at the 2 guard. I know it goes against "my rebuilding mentality" but value is value, and when you are the Kings you take it anyway you can get. Plus, for the time being, all my guards will screw up my rotation. I mean look at my guards: PG: Brooks/Barea/Jack SG: Thornton/Crawford + Salmons can play some SG. PS. This also proves I am not purposely trying to tank!
