Philadelphia gets
79 Leandro Barbosa --- $7,600,000 73 Louis Amundson --- $2,403,000 72 Tyler Hansbrough --- $2,138,040, $3,055,259, $4,255,423 Indiana's First Round Pick (2014)
Total Incoming Salary --- $12,141,040
Indiana Gets
84 Elton Brand --- $17,059,727, $18,160,355 67 Tony Battie --- $1,325,181
Total Incoming Salary --- $18,384,908
Sixers get rid of Elton Brand's bad contract while getting Barbosa, a scorer at the wing, which also has an expiring contract. Hansbrough, a young kid which has shown improvement in his game over the past years. Though playing behind David West, he really is a solid backup PF for Indiana. Sixers also get Amundson, a player of this franchise before. A defensive minded PF/C. Also a great rebounder. This trade will also give Tristan Thompson the minutes on the PF spot as a starter.

I have the cap to accept this trade. I give up my cap and a wing player to add to my front court. Brand is still a good contributor. Was hard giving up Hansborough, think he still has untapped potential. Don't know where my pick will be so that was hard to trade. Overall though I think this will help my team, so I accept.

What do you exactly plan on doing with Brand? You already have West and Hibbert

Was actually thinking about moving West to SF and Granger to SG creating mismatches.

Ok. Let's bring him off the bench to create a 3 man rotation of West (pf), Brand (pf/c), Hibbert (c). This way one of my bigs can sit on the bench and rest.

so you're giving up a first rounder and your best bench players for an 84 bench player?

If this trade is accepted, I doubt West will come off the bench for him. Trade talks will not be over. I'm quite sure Hibbert will stay with him no matter what so I'm thinking a trade with either West or Brand will be next for him.

Indy, maybe it will help us if you post your new Starting 5, and then also your top few bench contributors.

Do GM's have freedom in this league? I am not going to quit on my team. I have played in each of the sim leagues Ive been in until they have ended. Brand is producing quite well right now. If we take out the 1st rounder would you be more likely to accept this trade?

I really don't like this trade for Indy, giving up 2 solid rotation players (Amundson & Barbosa) + a young big AND a 1st rounder for an overpaid and declining Brand.

If we take out the 1st rounder would you be more likely to accept this trade? 43 trades passed. 3 rejected. We're too lenient, if anything, for my liking. You could make this into a 3-way after you've figured out where West is going, otherwise I'm inclined to reject also.

Even though Brand is playing relatively well lately...he's not a 17-18 mil a year player. For me, Elton's value is zero (Any good he does, cancelled by handcuffing his team pretty badly for the next 2 years). So...Indy gives up a solid Barbosa, a guy with upside left in Hansbrough on a nice contract, a hustle energy player in Amundson, and a 1st, for Tony Battie.
Coupled with the whole "Brand or West won't be starting" if this goes through, thing...I'm gonna have to reject.

So, 3 rejects. Does that mean move on to something else?

I'm not positive if Ian's is a clear reject or not...but 3 rejects WOULD mean to move on to something else, yes.
