Memphis Grizzlies trade: 79 Samuel Dalembert- $7,000,000, $6,698,656 84 Paul Millsap- $8,103,435, $8,603,633 77 Charlie Villanueva- $7,540,000, $8,060,000, $8,580,000
Total:22,643,435
New Orleans Hornets trade: 78 Carl Landry- $8,500,000 77 Chris Kaman- $12,700,000
Total:21,200,000
I accept I feel like I take a step back in my front count but open up a lot of cap space in the next year and that's why i do this trade

I accept. I have been pursuing Milsap for some time and if it takes CV to get him then so be it. I give up my cap space but I don't see that as a problem when the biggest potential free agent is the former Hornet Chris Paul. I see this as another step in the right direction for a team that was going nowhere when I took over.

I don't really "like" this trade but Villanueva is a BIG negative value, and Dalembert isn't really a plus either. Landry and Kaman both expire which is nice, have good enough ratings...
I'll accept it. Millsap is worth more, but gotta take Villanueva and Dalembert to get him so that makes it acceptable.

I accept. On the face of it the Grizzlies are giving away too much, but when you take into account salaries and where these players are at in their career I think it balances out.

I dunno about this. I mean, who are you gonna sign with all that cap room? MAYBE an 84 rated PF? You traded Randolph -> Boozer -> Millsap -> Expiring Contracts.
I'm going to reject.

This Grizzlies manager did not trade Randolph for Boozer, or for Millsap.
Just saying.

How I look at this is with the trade I made with sixers got me a young pf and i would believe cap space next year is better then a $7,540,000, $8,060,000, $8,580,000 deal but twolves i traded boozer for millsap thats one...

Ah my bad, actually I liked that part of the "sequence" for you anyway, rather have Millsap than Boozer.
But yea, you've got Tristan now to play PF, so cap space just to go after the best player you can is nice. Gotta rebuild.

My honest two cents, as the owner of the Hornet's pick next year, is that the trade benefits both teams. Obviously, the Hornets look crazy scary on paper moving forward. As for Memphis, the old GM screwed the team up. As a result, the new GM needs to rebuild. Though I am not as big of a Tristan Thompson believer as some people, I am a huge Carl Landry fan and think he could help the Grizzles if they resign him to a smaller contract. Chances are one of those two will be able to fill the starting PF spot for the Grizzles. Factor in the cap space, and I feel like this deal, along with the Philly deal, could really help Memphis in the future. My only concern would be why did Memphis trade for Nash if he is trying to rebuild? Though, I have a feeling Nashy might be on the move yet again.

I accept, Memphis dumps 22M in salaries next season while also getting 2 solid players in return who can keep him competitive.
