And once again adds to your long running abuse of the cap system. What happened to the time limit to get under a certain amount Ian Noble ?
Just because you are operating within the rules doesn't mean you can't abuse a system. The Cavs had a 54 million dollar luxury tax in real life. You have literally almost a team an a half going against your cap. Your tax bill would be like 200 million. You aren't breaking any rules but your team IS structured in a really unrealistic way with over 20 players getting paid right now, lucky them. I do not hold it against you at all, I'm just pointing it out.
You also do the exact same thing from the other end (and Billy even moreso). My cap is irrelevant to me because I'm so far over, yours is irrelevant to you because you're so far under. We're both willing to take albatross contracts off of other teams as a way to try and improve our team. Was your signing of Brendan Haywood to $10 mil per year "abuse" of the cap system? You purposely overpaid for a guy so he could be a trade chip in cap related trades.
I signed Brendan Haywood to that contract because it was based off of a real contract. I am planning on using that contract to allow me to grease deals because with my roster being a bargain I need to be able to match salaries. I would have nothing against having a salary floor in fact I think I've brought it up before.
Also the hard cap is already happening. The huge cap jump messed it up though. Had the cap stayed level, I'd currently be over the hard cap. It will even out again in the long run.
