Easy fix right now. Everyone who's been affected by playoff injuries so far this season, gets those players back for our
offseason. Maybe the rule is that if someone is injured in the playoffs that the team in D5 just loses them for the rest of the regular season. That would be acceptable to me. Also Kahwi is technically out the rest of the playoffs too. So who knows what kind of ruling we make.
Yes, the magic wand comes down and WAH-LAH, every one is healed. Why even have injuries? Why would it be fair that a player tears his ACL in February, and you get him back for the playoffs, unless you mean injuries that happened in the playoffs.
Where is the realism in that. Half of the fun in this is adjusting to circumstances out of your control by making corresponding moves and adjustments.
If your guy goes down, he goes down. Pull your pants up, quit bitching, and move on. We shouldn't change the rules at the end of the season.
If IT could play through this, and it wasn't serious, he would be playing through it in the ECF, and the Finals. He is out FOR THE PLAYOFFS, meaning, if the Celtics come back and beat the Cavaliers, he isn't playing against the Warriors either.
Take Kawhi for example, he has a pretty bad sprained ankle, yet he is being ruled out on a game by game basis, he is not listed as out for the playoffs, he will come back. IT isn't.
Honestly, the most fair thing would be to drop IT from the Spurs after the second game of the ECF, but those aren't the rul
Didn't mean to say offseason, meant playoffs. I'm saying that if someone is injured in the real life playoffs it should not count in this league. It makes no fucking sense especially when guys are getting shut down for twisted ankles like Kawhi was. In the real NBA you don't have players who didn't make the postseason playing in the postseason.
In D5 Charlotte's entire roster is now injury proof, Cleveland aside from McGee injury proof, Denver, injury proof. Golden State, OKC, Portland could have their entire postseasons ruined by a rolled ankle or a Zaza incident right now.
Everyone who was out for the season should remain out for the season if it was a regular season injury.
