Mavs accept, Turn another guard into more front court help. Frye's extra two years hurt, but I don't think they'll stop me from retaining my key free agents in two years. The Two 2nd Rounders help cushion the blow.

I accept, and hate to give up my boy Channing Frye but I felt like Jarret Jack was worth the price I paid for him. The guy put up 15/6 in real life, and will now be playing with Anthony Davis and Eric Gordon on, hopefully, a more regular bases. I am still committed to Aaron Brooks, but this is an insurance policy in case he doesn't come back to the NBA or does not perform the way I know that he can/will. They both expire in two years, and at that time I can make a decision as to who is my guy. Barea is more of a 2 guard in a PG's body, so his contribution off the bench should not change. Anthony Parker gives us a decent veteran who may end up getting traded.
The Mavs get another shooting big man to go along with Ryan Anderson and Dirk in Channing Frye. I am very high on Frye, but once we started going young he just didn't fit in. I do realize Frye and Jack are close to the same age, but I think perhaps Jack has garnered a rating boast while Frye is who he is. Also of note, my 2012 2nd should be a good pick, and I hate to loss it, but I thought it was worth it to have a chance at a legitimate PG. Nice trading with you Mavs, and best of luck to Channing and Justin in Dallas.

That's one hell of a return for Jarrett Jack because Anthony Parker retired a few days ago.

That's one hell of a return for Jarrett Jack because Anthony Parker retired a few days ago. So? When I traded for him I acutally had a destination in mind for him. He still a 75 and expires, some contender will want him.
