Makes me think if Anthony Bennett played for this year's Suns he might've made something for himself. I'm not a huge fan of Booker but he's filling it up with all the attention he's getting on the Suns offense.

I read it as you saying Booker is currently rated worse than Harden in D5, therefore he needs more of a boost to his overall rating so his defensive ratings can be raised, since it's obviously impossible for someone to be worse at defense than Harden. My mistake. Though what you're actually saying is still kind of going with the circle-jerk. This guy's worse than Harden? Can you believe that? How embarrassing, everyone knows Harden is a joke. It's all a little ridiculous. Harden's not actually that bad. Lillard is worse, Kyrie might be too, but they get a pass for some reason. It's just fun for everyone to shit on James Harden. |

Everyone shits on Harden because he is the most obvious offender of bad defense. And I don't mean that because he is all over youtube. What I mean is, he is the face of a big franchise, with a "great" center. And the Rockets are struggling. They are on national TV all the time and everyone points out how bad Harden is. The media does it because he is in the spot light the most. Lillard sits in Portland and no one pays attention to them. And Kyrie has LeBron getting the attention. That is all it is. Kyrie is terrible at defense. I won't go as far to say Lillard is as bad as them because I know less about Lillard. But Harden gets a bad rap for it when they are all offenders. There is terrible perimeter defense in the NBA because of the AAU Iso basketball that occurs all thru the developmental years for the players. Its terrible. But Booker is bad defensively. Sorry for circle jerking it. |

Lillard is actually a pretty good defender, he just sometimes has to use that possession to catch his breath, but not the same way Harden does. Irving is WORSE at defense than Harden, imho.

Those stats overvalue thinga like steals and blocks over good solid defense. You can easily visually see Harden is a bad defender
