Current Rating: 86
Last year: 15.9 ppg, 7.0 apg, 2.5 rpg, 1.7 spg, 2.8 TOV on 46% with 34% from 3
This year: 15.1 ppg, 5.7 apg, 2.7, 1.3 spg, 2.8 TOV on 43% and 40% from 3
Teague was buoyed by an insane amount of team basketball last year that is gone now. The slasher has a deep shot now, though.
Suggested Rating: 83

How many of the assists lost are due to Korver kind of being really above average at 3 pointers instead of god like?

How many of the assists lost are due to Korver kind of being really above average at 3 pointers instead of god like? How many of those assists were gained by throwing to a guy that made a stupid amount of 3s? Last year was Teague's 99th percentile season, players shouldn't be rated based on their best season, especially if that season isn't the current one.

Haven't seen a viable reason to decrease him this year. His statistics are virtually the same as last season when he was an all-star.

86 Haven't seen a viable reason to decrease him this year. His statistics are virtually the same as last season when he was an all-star. For the past 5 seasons he has been about the same. His numbers are similar to last when he was an all star. He actually had slightly better numbers the two years before All Star. He earned all star status because of the Hawks great season last year. How he is better than othet pgs- IT2 and Reggie Jackson i dont get it or see it. I think you guys overrated him during his last increase. Hes good, but needs a decrease or others need an increase. 83

Hes better than IT2 and Reggie Jackson. Congrats you just listed two average point guards who are completely deficient on 50% of the court.

Hm. Idk how I feel about this. I like Teague. I think he’s really a super solid PG. His stats are slightly down, and he is shooting fairly worse, but: The Hawks still boast the 2nd best defense, Teague is playing 2 less minutes than last year, the Hawks as a whole are shooting worse than last year – contributing to his declining assist numbers, he is shooting a lot better from three.
I think I’ll go 85, it’ll be nice to have his ratings re-adjusted to reflect his 3 point shot, too.
