Ian NobleIt's not just us who thinks this would be a good idea! I've archived all of the 2014/15 Season threads. Do you want to Ian Noble tag me in threads that need archiving from now on? I'll try and give you permission to do it also, but Proboards permissions are a tricky thing to figure out! Sure thing, I can try it that way! Just don't want to have to add to your duties but we'll give it a go.

Alex English Isn't it possible that a guy's box score stats aren't the whole story here? His advanced stats have gone down this year, to the worst since his sophmore year arguably and he's shooting worse not to mention his team is struggling this year, playing way below expectations. I dont think there's a basis to just say "Nope your opinion is wrong, because my answer is correct and only box score stats matter." Isn't it possible that as an NBA fan we have differing opinions based on what we've watched and the stats we choose to use. As an example is someone started a thread to lower Deron WIlliams during his Beginning Brooklyn years people would have the same response that you have here. Now I'm not trying to compare those guys jst using that as an example where box score stats clearly didn't tell the whole story.

I never thought he turned the ball over too much. Just goes to show that gathering assets and trading a bunch of them for 1 or 2 stars is a recipe for a short period of succes, but bad for long term success.

Through the draft, good coaching, consistent front offices, free agency.
Not to say you can't get significantly better through trades. But Houston gathered assets as a middle of the pack team for. Like 3 years. Then traded all of it away except Parsons for Harden and Howard. And now they suck because 40 year old Jason Terry is not an acceptable player on any team but thats who they get to pick because now they have no money.

Houston didnt trade for Dwight Howard, he signed as a free agent. Most people would agree that both Houston and Chicago underachieved this year. They both also fired head coaches that probably shouldn't have been fired.

It's why the Cavs and OKC will get chewed and spit out by the Spurs/Dubs the coaching difference is too huge.

You think he would make the playoffs?

Blatt would have been so good for this team if LBJ didn't come back.
