I accept.
I get the best player in the deal in Parker and the long term answer for my point guard position. This unites Parker with Griffin and Carmelo to form their own "Big 3" in LA. Parker's long term contract guarantees me strength from that position for years and years.
I know my 2 guard is a little weak but it was a little weak before with J-Rich (who I love). Either way, I don'y lose anything there and I gain big time at the PG spot.
C - DeAndre Jordan PF - Blake Griffin SF - Carmelo Anthony SG - Tracy McGrady PG - Tony Parker
Diaw, Hill, Henderson, Wilcox, West and Bledsoe are all off the bench.
Probably another deal or 2 to come as well.
Thanks Spurs and good trading with you too!

I honestly think we may face one another and I look forward to it. If this was real life the trade would be a lot different, but after I win it this season I'm trading ginobili and rebuilding with a younger team. I look at stats in the game. Parker is the best player, but our stats are close. It's going to b a fun season.

IRL Stats:
TMAC 5.3ppg 3.0rpg 2.1apg Diaw 4.7ppg 4.3rpg 2.4apg West 9.6ppg 2.3rpg 3.2apg Parker 18.3ppg 2.9rpg 7.7apg
Billups 15.0ppg 2.5rpg 4.0apg Davis 6.1ppg 1.9rpg 4.7apg Martin 5.2ppg 4.3rpg 0.4apg Richardson 11.6ppg 3.6rpg 2.0apg Murphy 3.2ppg 3.2rpg 0.9apg
Of course the game is a game and even players rated 75+ can play great in the sim game. Its all about knowing how these sims work.
I just see this trade fair and great for both. I get one extra guy for depth with the most rating points total and saving salary in the long run:)

Little known fact LAC - Carmelo only has one "L" in his name, just a heads up, I don't think your superstar will enjoy his name being screwed with ;-)
Anyway, I gotta digest this a little bit. TMAc, Delonte, and Diaw don't really do much in this trade for me, but neither do Kenyon, Baron, and Murphy. JRich and Chauncy for Parker is what it strikes me as, at first...I don't think I like it but I'm not positive about it being a reject either, so I'll get back to you guys.

If you think about it like that. I'm sure billups and baron= Parker , I also get JRich. TMAC and west have done nothing for my team and I'm sure if approved the team I'm building will be better than the team it is now.

Which side do you not like it for?
It is so balanced for me that I am not sure who you guys will think is getting the better deal.
For me, it is a no brainer. I send more talent in numbers but I turn veteran expirings into a long term solution at point guard.
SA more than replaces Parker in the short term with Billups and Davis.
Diaw and K-Mart are a wash. Murphy and West are a wash. Davis and T-Mac are a wash.
This deal boils down to Parker for Billups and J-Rich.

I would not reject it, but clearly LAC's wins the deal by getting Parker.

For me, the depth that the Spurs get with this trade is unbelieavable, both team get everything that they want on the deal, it's a totally fair trade IMO.
Diaw = K-Mart Davis > West J-Rich = T-Mac Parker >>> Billups Murphy >>> No one
He's giving up Parker to a lot of depth for his team.

Still mulling it over, seems ENTIRELY unrealistic that the Spurs IRL would move Parker for Billups/JRich. I just don't see that happening.
But I am still unsure if I have a reject in me for this one.

If I resign Duncan after the season:
91 Tim Duncan $21,164,619 86 Manu Ginobili $12,981,038 $14,107,492 83 Metta World Peace $6,790,640 $7,258,960 $7,727,280 81 Jason Richardson $5,395,000 $5,799,625 $6,204,250 $6,601,125 76 Drew Gooden $6,226,200 $6,687,400 $6,687,400 $6,687,400 79 Al Harrington $6,226,200 $6,687,400 $7,148,600 $7,609,800 79 Anderson Varejao $7,950,000 $8,618,182 $9,286,364 $9,954,545
Will Be traded or let go: 65 Jon Brockman $1,000,000 $1,000,000 73 Toney Douglas $1,145,640 $2,067,880 $3,101,820
I am sure that I will pick up a nice PG in FA or by trade. Even with next season here is my lineup without FA or doing any trades:
Harrington/Varejao Duncan/Gooden Richardson/MWP Ginobili (Douglas)---or another PG from FA....
or if I dont sign Duncan I should have about 20 mil in cap space... and then trade my depth for talented youth:)

As far as I am aware, JR, I'm supposed to vote based on real-life value, and keeping things realistic, that is why I brought up the IRL situation.
I've been away for the whole night and my brain is fried, and there are 4 other CM's who can vote lol. I'm still going to hold off voting.

I'm not happy with Parker being traded from the Spurs either, but not unhappy enough to reject, I'd only do that if Duncan was being moved.
I accept.

Ugh this annoys me, I can't make up my mind for sure so I guess that means it's not quite bad enough for me to reject.
I think you're making a mistake SAS but it could be a mistake that gets you a ring this season.
Accept.
