Can I trade Nate... If not, I'm going to have to protest. Seems really unfair to make a rule change in direct response to a signing. I have a whole pending trade waiting. The rule seems totally fair, but I don't think it's fair to enact it immediately in response to a single signing I made.

Make sure the rule accounts for the contracts too because otherwise he could sign them and then cut them to trade the dead money, which technically gets around of the rule.
