He's 93 here at D5 but he's probably the best player in basketball right now.
I'd give him a 95

Best pure shooter? Yes. Best overall player? I don't agree. I still think Lebron is the best.

I'd say 94 but I really hate the way he chews his mouthguard like a punk bitch.
93

Best shooter in the history of the game, but also one of the best decision-makers in my opinion.

96 I've never seen anything like him. And he's a really good defender now

97. We can't make him a lock down defender. If you put his scoring except layup and dunk to 99 he should balance out with his still just average athleticism. If that doesn't do the trick boost his handling.

As much as I hate to say it. He's the most dynamic scorer since Jordan. 52% from the field shooting 11 three pointers a game. Shooting 60% inside the arc. Shoots 93% from the stripe. Its absurd.
Seriously look up the comparisons between 27 year old Jordan and 27 year old Curry. Its almost identical. Averaging over 30 ppg at the moment. If he was more athletic he'd be a 99 overall.

I don't know. Thats the ratings committees job. I don't know what hes at now. The difference between a 93 and a 97 is like 60 individual rating points (about). Find a place to put 60 more points into steph curry... 96 - O. Aware 94 - FG 99 - 3PT 90 - FT 45 - Dunk 95 - Pass 95 - Handle 71 - Inside 25 - Range 48 - 3PT% 6 - Style 23 - O. Reb 55 - D. Reb 80 - D. Aware 89 - Steal 03 - Block 95 - Speed 95 - Quick 67 - Jump 51 - Strength 91 - Stamina 70 - Injury Only a player that is a true all around player (like lebron) can even come close to sniffing a rating like a 99, because otherwise you're going to have Steph averaging like 1.5 bpg in the sim

4 O aware 6 Fg 9 FT 4 handle 10 inside 10 d aware 10 injury 5 d rebound
Thats 58

You can add some more to steal considering hes 3rd in the league in that stat. I mean.

Another trick to be done is to decrease the overall 3PT of all the other players so that Steph could be differentiated.

4 O aware 6 Fg 9 FT 4 handle 10 inside 10 d aware 10 injury 5 d rebound Thats 58 ehhh, he isnt as good of a post player as the other players that have an 80 inside scoring rating, neither is his defense a 90. why increase his overall to raise injury? injury has no effect on the sim. Max stats is 99. So O awareness to 99, FG to 99, FT to 99 Handle to 99 is like 20 points.... he definitely needs an increase in steal, and maybe a small bump in D awareness, but we aren't talking a 60 point increase here, you only need like 30. Which would be Ians original vote of 95.

I think that his defensive rebounding could go up a few, the injury is something that we sort of gauge the risk of a player getting injured in real life by as it is an effect on the overall rating of a player. He has a low injury rating because like 3 or 4 years ago it looked like his career might come to an end over his ankles. 3 basically full seasons now we could take him up to a 90.

Should just increase everyone's Injury rating to 99. That way, it gives a higher rating and we are still able to increase other player stats. I can't believe an Injury rating of 99 would cause a player to go up by 4 or 5 more rating points.

I can't believe an Injury rating of 99 would cause a player to go up by 4 or 5 more rating points. It's approximate, but every 14 or 16 points gets ONE overall rating point. So, going from 70 to 99 would bump everyone around 2 overall rating points. Really, since we don't use Injury in this game, as long as they're all the same (70 is what we update everyone to as we update them), it doesn't matter what it is. If it's the same for all players then it's even and fair. And, somewhat related, if all of Curry's stats are where they need to be and he's "only" a 95 instead of a 99, then so be it. He'll be rated accurately for his game and that's all that matters.

I don't want to make someone go insane stat wise just because people want his rating to be presented higher. Maybe with player threads, we should post their stats as Adam did so people can see where the player is at now and it the player even needs to be improved?

The individual ratings are posted in the "Completed Rating Changes" subforum, one only has to look and ctrl+c. Maybe it should be the job of the thread creator.
