I agree with Billy.. He is improving to the point that he may be on the level where Davis is.

Why did you remove the FG%s from this years stats?

He definitely needs a rating increase, but how many Hassan threads are you going to make this year?
I vote 82 for now and possibly more next off-season.

Why did you remove the FG%s from this years stats? Not sure was quite high at the time... Deandre jordan is having a much better year in the FG% area. 71% to Whitesides 61% but... that is because Jordan's rating needs raised, or rather, Dwight Howards needs lowered. Also, whiteside takes more shots that aren't dunks. We need to decide who is the best C in the game and rate them the highest, and Dwight is not that guy.

I propose that when Whiteside gets his increase that Adam is banned from posting about him for one year.
As for his rating, I'd say 81. There are a bunch of centers I'd rather have including Jefferson (87), Vucevic (84), Monroe (83), Lopez (84), Drummond (81), Valanciunas (77), and more too. He's most like DeAndre Jordan though, as the comparison shows, and he's an 83. I prefer Jordan though.

I already said I think he's way better. I would be fine with an 84.

I agree. My argument last year was that the sample size was too small. I have watched him play some and I believe he is a talent. I do not want to over rate him, that is why I gave him the increase I did. I do believe he possesses better offensive skills than Jordan though, despite the FG%.

I think HW's rating should be adjusted before the start. The difference is quite big.
81 for me.

I hate Hassan Whiteside, and it's your fault Adam. I can't see any good stat line by him without thinking about how you're already here posting about it. He's going to get his rating boost. Everyone here has voted 80+... where are the haters?

Meh, let him post whatever he wants. He is the most active member right now so...
I will give Whiteside an 82. I would lower Jordan to 82 as well considering he is a horrible ft shooter.

I'm still semi-hesitant, I can't say his stats right now aren't super impressive but I'm just trying to not go crazy yet.

Whiteside's rim protection has gotten soooo good this year. In Ppints saved at the rim / 36 minutes the top 5: Festus Ezeli: 8.8 pp36 Rudy Gobert: 8.65 pp36 Whiteside: 8.36 pp36 Tum Duncan: 7.85 pp36 Mozgov: 7.72 pp36 nyloncalculus.com/stats/rim-protection/try some nylon caluclus sometime. It's a great site.

No, but he has been a very good rim protector this year... I was just posting because the narrative for whiteside is he is lazy on defense, or lets his man get a shot so he can grab a rebound, and what was partially true last year, is no longer true at all. he shuts people down inside. That one really bad game KAT had? That was against Whiteside.

Hes doing really well, he does a great job of just doing stuff to piss people off.

Dwight needs to be around 85. Jordan around 83-84.
Last time I vote for him until at least mid season. .
