I couldn't find a thread for him but pretty ridiculous he's a 78 still. He still hasn't even signed with a NBA team. Wouldn't be surprised if he retired, was incredibly awful last year on the Lakers.
Current Rating: 78 Suggested Rating: 70
TL;DR: Boozer is trash

Hmm. Only 24 mpg, 12 points, 7 boards, 50% from the field (highest since 2011-12 season). His FT% took a dip which I've noticed CAN be foretelling of a big overall drop coming, but I think 70/71 is quite a bit low.
76 for me.

What rating would you give someone who posted those stats for Philly? The lakers were worse. Boozer wouldn't of started for philly. Think about that for a second

I choose to base my rating on the numbers I see. 76 isn't exactly a great player. And for the record, I'd give the exact same rating. Now, if he put up those same numbers in 34 mpg and shooting 44% or something like that, I'd lead the 70 rating charge. But, what I see, he's around a 76.

Also good to point out that he couldnt even get a vet min deal this season and may be the worst defender in the league

Kanter is the worst defender in the league and got a max deal so its probably just that he's old.

That being said I think 72 is reasonable.

Boozer should get the benefit of the doubt for a bit longer consider the type of contract Pistons GM signed him for. Year 1: $ 8,000,000 Year 2: $ 8,880,000 Year 3: $ 9,856,800 (player option) Year 4: $ 10,941,048 (team option) Year 5: $ 12,144,563 Yes, Pistons GM made that offer but agents lowered excessive offers so maybe, this shouldn't be considered excessive at least for now?

Lol I didn’t necessarily say we should rescind it for Ghanzy… just for Detroit. Detroit doesn’t even have their 2016 or 2018 pick they project to be like 4-6 years away from even a modest recovery. If Boozer doesn’t rejoin the NBA, and actually just in general, I think we should examine our policy on keeping players in the sim that don’t play in the league ie Bynum, Sanders, and now Boozer.

I don't remember the official rule on retiring players. I think if a player retires IRL they do actually get removed but don't quote me. Tag Ian he can answer.
