I'm surprised since he got shot in the leg! I guess you could say he came back.... Early. *shades descend*

Mike Conley out indefinitely This doesn't mean he is going to miss 6 weeks. He has a sore achilles.

6 weeks, but yeah, it will be the season. Having the meniscus removed and not repaired a la D-Rose and Eric Bledsoe

How is someone like Danilo Gallinari not on the IR?
He had ankle surgery that would cost him all of March, and there's only like 4 games left for the Nuggets in April. There's no way they bring him back, yet because he isn't officially ruled out for the season, he doesn't go on our IR?
Shouldn't we use our better judgement in these scenarios?

Still no league injury manager, nor a set guideline. And still players injured still playing. Every guy injured by guideline should not play. Role player or starter or all-star. We really dont want another Milwaukee issue do we??
Please get on this.
There are multiple guys still need to be put on IR.
Thanks

Wilson chandler had season ending surgery in November. I don't think he is on the list.

This needs to be updated, a lot of these guys have gotten 4-5 extra games in D5 after going down with season-ending injuries

Just gotta say, I think this needs to be examined. In general, it feels lame to have Davis sit. Is he really injured? Would he still be playing if the Pels were in the playoff hunt? “shutting down” players seems silly because it depends on the IRL standings and can completely and unfairly affect a D5 team.

I'm sure him being out may help their chances of the lottery, but as in last night they won. If he wasn't having surgery I would agree. But shutting it down with 20 games or so and getting surgery....he's on IR and should be here as well.

Agreed, but he is getting surgery on his knee and his shoulder.

Yeah, the surgery definitely adds to the arguments for placing him on IR, but would he be having this surgery if he was on the first place team in the East? Im not sure. Just a really shitty situation and something that I think, in other situations where there’s no surgery, should not take a player out of D5 action. And maybe even where there is surgery, I just don’t know. Feels stupid though lol.

This is our system. If a guy is having surgery and will be out for 4-5 months, then he's out here. He's even going to miss the Olympics in the summer. Do you want to open the door where some long term injuries don't count? How could you even objectively decide which ones do or don't count? There are already enough stupid arguments on this forum. I'm in favor of getting rid of this system, I've always wanted in game injuries, but as long as we're doing this, Davis qualifies as much as anybody.

I guess that combined with the surgery kinda finalizes the case for having him out. I still believe that, if there was no surgery, and if Davis was playing in the Olympics, he should absolutely not be taken out of D5.

I agree it's shitty for Glenn's Bucks, but AD is missing the Olympics also - which holy shit I forgot was happening. I believe Carmelo Anthony missed a lot of last season because his Knicks sucked and the Clippers here suffered.
