I accept. I am in a rebuilding mode. Trying to get some young blood on my team. This trade definitely helps me do that. I hate giving up Mayo and especially Hill, I think this is a necessary move for my team, though.

Larry Bird - Why sign Jose Barea if you're rebuilding? Is that what he really signed up for?

I believe that each team that is trying to retool should have veteran leadership on the team. We promised a starting spot to him. He will start beside Schroder if this deal goes through.

I never agreed to this, there was a miscommunication betwixt Sam, Larry, and myself. I wanted to see about doing something without Schroder. I hope we can continue notifications, I was busy working yesterday and am right now actually and just got to this.

This is why people need to wait to vote until both sides have agreed. People talk about the trade, vote on it...and it gives time for the team that didn't accept to see his options and have a chance to bail or change his mind. In this case Indy loses out bad. He had a good deal in place...but now even if they change it up and make the trade... Larry will not have as good of a deal moving forward!!
I know some trades are more interesting, but how about people vote and talk about the trades that are legit and accepted by all parties..instead of getting into people's business before its locked up. I dislike this happening and feel this kind of thing needs to stop happening. By rule or by respect.
Can't everyone just wait until all accepts before commenting or voting on the trade???
Just my opinion...

I never in PMs said I accept or post it, I wasn't interested in this. I agree with a lot of what you say, JR, but this wasn't a change in opinion, I was never in on this deal.

That's cool. In general this does happen though which I'm sure you would agree with.
I just think a rule or something needs established.
If not oh well...just pointing out things I see that I feel need looked at...

I mean, apparently this was some sort of miscommunication which will always happen now and then, but how about people don't post trades until the other person has made it pretty clear they are good for the trade?
A rule would maybe be OK JR, but that will also slow things down which will lead to more complaints about that instead. We are all on here at pretty random times compared to everyone else. When a TC member is on and they see a trade posted, they should be able to vote on it. Otherwise it could take longer to get trades voted and passed/rejected.
Make sure both parties agree before posting is the Step #1 and most important IMO.

Yes, I screwed up. Larry and Blake, I am really sorry. Free Agency got over my head. Just too much things going on. I am done with it. Sorry.
