Jesus Christ guys, get a grip. In that previous trade that Spike Lee was talking about, nothing of the sort was brought to my attention. If you wanted me to engage with it, do more than post a footnote! If the NBA allows absurdly protected 2nd Rounders (basically nothing) to be traded for salary dumps like this, then I don't see why we need to add an extra layer of bureaucracy to the process by doing the same. Until we discover a good reason for not allowing trades like this, I am happy for them to go ahead. If anybody knows a reason trades like this should not go through, outline it right now and we can engage with it and make an informed decision. I still accept.

Because someone on the trade committee misinformed him about the rules - I think that has to be accounted for. I think NY should be able to keep their guy in his original trade if that is what is being done here. Only makes it fair; however, if he doesn't want Bairstow, then his argument might seem out of place.

It's already at three accepts, but we have every intention of doing so if we must. It's not a big deal to us, but we recognize that Spike had a different set of circumstances occur and we fully respect and understand his concern.

I was just looking for some clarification for the sake of other GMs and TC Members who may have been confused about the situation. I didn't make the thread in the Jordan Hill trade but if I do encounter a situation such as this next time, I will make sure to tag or PM you directly.
