The draft rights to Rakeem Christman
We have the salary cap space to take on the $9.5 Mil.
We accept, we add a legit starting PG. He has injury problems, but we feel comfortable with him on our team. We are going after a couple of FAs and I think this trade makes our team look very nice to them. Mason is expendable because of Jonas and Rudy, and we feel the by moving Shabazz we make more room for the bigger free agent we are targeting, but we also feel that with Holiday we help our chances of re-signing one of my favorite guys since his early days, Tobias Harris and to compete sooner than later. We also add a prospect, Rakeem Christmas that I really like...
Orlando is getting Christmas AND Holiday, what could be better? Only if we were also receiving Kyle Hanukkah.

First of all, how much did Utah give up just to get Holiday and stop more of Glenns cheating? And Holiday is one of the better point guards in the league...why trade him for basically nothing. Maybe nothing, but unproven players/picks! I can see saving cap, to go after a FA...bit what FA is better than Holiday? This is one of those trades I don't see how it gets accepted, but other trades that should get passed don't. I just don't get it. How do you accept this..
I mean it's already been accepted by at least one CM if not 2.
Just don't get it..

He drafted that one PG out of China this year and wants to start him. The guy in Denver IRL. He said he's still tanking because I guess he wants one more high lottery pick before trying to contend.

Some people in this league are scared to death of Jrues injury history. I'll just say that right now.
I do think the potential value he's losing from the three trades is pretty concerning.

Not too much, but a solid starter or a great role player off the bench. Shabazz is going to be great as well, he got a lot of devaluation coming out of UCLA, but I feel he is going to come around and reach a solid level next to the rest of Minnesota's young talent. And Jrue does have the history of injuries and Adam does have solid PGs, so that should definitely be taken into consideration. But I do see where everyone is coming from here. |

I actually do like Mason a good amount but Jrue is in a way different class at the moment. Plus Jrue's contract in here was already pretty nice and with the new cap it's a bargain. It's easily fair now considering the injury and the new salary cap.
I gotta think on it and try to work through some FA signings too, but I'm not ready to vote on this yet basically. Sorry guys.

What is the big deal with this trade? There is a huge difference in salaries for the next 3 seasons. Mason Plumlee was good for Nets last season when Lopez was gone and he is now the best Blazers big man. Muhammed was considered a great prospect not so long ago and he had great numbers lately. I honestly believe this trade might hunt us when I come back, lol.
Adam, Don't say I manipulated you. You are one of those GMs who knows exactly what he wants and will do it even if the other thinks differently like Whiteside so don't lie.

Plumlee was good for the Nets, but he is extremely limited offensively and is not exactly young. That's why we were so willing to trade him.

I respect my boy Sam Bowie 1000%, he's awesome and he's helped me fix this team, and I respect Adam 1000%, I love what he's done to Utah.
