Toronto Raptors trade:
86 Steve Nash - $11,689,062
Denver Nuggets trade:
79 Ty Lawson - $1,654,440 - $2,544,529 - $3,610,686 74 Beno Udrih - $6,925,400 - $7,372,200 SAS 2012 1st round pick
Total: $8,579,840
I have the cap space for this trade.
I accept. Rumours are that Nash wants to sign a 3 year contract so he will have a few years left as an elite point guard. Considering Nash is very loyal and isn't a title chaser I figure that with Phoenix and now Toronto out of the running since they are trading him away, I shouldn't have much trouble keeping him in Denver in the off-season. I also get rid of Udrih who is guarenteed to take his player option. That will give me the cap space I need to re-sign both Nash and Ilyasova and try and build a contender for the next few seasons.

I accept, reality is under Nash my team is a playoff team, however we are not contender as Miami and company are just above us. So rather than ride this team until we get old and are force to rebuild, I might as well start the process now. With Gordon, Jonas, and now Lawson, it does give me a very good core to build around. I see Ty Lawson as a future all star in the making, IMO with Nash’s age this is a good return.

Wow, this is really dangerous for Denver. Even if he can re-sign Nash, the man is still 38 years old.
I guess Denver is willing to take the gamble, so I'll accept.

This is a weird trade, it's totally unrealistic that Nash would get traded twice, but that aside I'll accept. Denver I hope this one year loan is worth it

Denver I hope this one year loan is worth it I don't plan on it being one year. I have every intention of re-signing Nash after the season.

I'll accept, I dig this for Raptors based on real life value, even though that 1st isn't likely to be a high 1st, it'll still be a pretty solid player based on this draft class being so good.

I accept, this certifies Denver as a playoff team in the West and TOR picks up a very good young PG to pair up with EG.
