Not only an offensive and conditioning beast but also a lockdown defender.

Oh but stock watch is closed until the offseason. Maybe it is the offseason for the Jimmy Butler team and that's good enough?

88. Most Improved Player
We all know about his defensive prowess but he was on another level this season for the Bulls.

Not only an offensive and conditioning beast but also a lockdown defender. That is why I gave him a 87. He does pretty much everything well.

I use Kawhi as a parameter. For me, Butler is better offensively but Kawhi is better defensively. But the advantage of Jimmy in offense is much bigger than the advantage of Kawhi in defense. Add to that, he have better handles.
but I see Kawhi as an 88. Hmmm.. but according to the majority, he is a 85.
so I think Jimmy is a 87 right now

You guys "AGAIN", are way overrating Jimmy. He's an above average starter, but he's not in the 88 range for sure. He played well during the season, but once in the playoffs he didn't play to that same level. Even before the injury and right after. I know we have changed the way we rate players, but even a player that averaged 26ppg a few seasons back never went above the 87 mark.I think his rating is fine until after we see what he does the first half of the season. I'm sure Chicago won't let him walk, but if he does switch teams... How good will he be? Sometimes players tend to play better in some systems. If he goes to a system where he is 2nd or even maybe the 3rd option, his numbers surely will decrease. He's a good defender as well. I just think you guys are jumping on the hype way to fast , just like we did with Rondo. The highest I would go for now would be an 85. Anything above that is just stupid and should be ignored as a rating until he proves himself a little more.

Personally, I voted 87 because I agree with what you say but I think he is playing more like a 89 at the moment. Even if he is not a superstar, I would give him high ratings in pretty much every category and that would get him a very high overall. just like we did with Rondo. Difference is Rondo can't shoot.

Stamina (38 mins a game holy shit), this guy can ball and is really a testament to how good Thibs is at developing players (30th pick) Good 2 pt % is a guy who can finish and effectively shoot the 3 ball. A killer on defense.
86 OVR. In contention for 2nd or 3rd best SG in the league.

Lets see how he does with a new coach or a new team.
He is def far from one of the top guards in the league. There are several still ahead that are proven. More than just one or two seasons proven.
Going to change my vote to 83 until I see more.
