Can't say I'm surprised, but happy we kept it close. Only scored 2 less points than the Warriors in the 2nd half.
Let's even it up next game fellas!

From the start of the 2nd half in Game one through the first half of Game two, I won those 4 quarters by 13 points total. Even add in a 5th quarter, the 3rd quarter of Game two, and I'm still winning those 5 quarters by 2 points.
Obviously those other 3 quarters haven't been our friends, but that shows this has been pretty close overall.
Let's see what happens back at home!

Big 2nd half propels us to the win!
2-0 lead heading back to Minnesota, couldn't ask for a better start to the series.

Wow. Tie game going into the 4th and we pulled out another close one to go up 3-0!
This series reminds me of the 96-97 1st round series between the Bulls & Bullets. Every game was close but the Bullets just couldn't quite finish it off at the end of the game. The T-Wolves are a tough matchup for us apparently but we've been fortunate to not drop a game yet.
1 more win to go to advance to the semis!

Great series Walt, every game was a nail biter with the exception of game 4. Your team is going to be a force in the very near future. Could be very similar to Glenn's Bucks that got the 8 seed last season in the East and jumped to the 1 seed this season. Well Clyde Drexler looks like we will meet in the Playoffs yet again, but this time a round earlier. Hoping we can dethrone the defending champs and avenge our Playoff series loss from last season!

Thanks Chris, nice work on that team, I thought I might have taken one and left you with the "Gentleman's Sweep" but alas, you are too much to overcome. Some good drafting and maybe a little wheeling and dealing and I hope to at least move up out of this perpetual 7/8 seed and/or just missing the playoffs area of the league, from there, we'll see! Good luck the rest of the way!

Question for Chris:
How lucky do you feel about having a team without injuries and how do you think it would affect the upcoming series against Portland if reports about Klay Thompson being unable to play due to a concussion come true?
Question for Walt:
Next season, you plan to come back to the playoffs stronger or you imagine it will be a rebuilding season? Would that depend on the lottery results? And finally, what do you have to say about reports that have you pushing for Kevin Love to return home in 2016 off-season.
Thanks.

Thanks. We definitely feel very lucky to have been able to keep our injuries to a minimum this season. We did lose Dwight Howard for an extended period of time in the middle of the season but other than that we've been lucky for sure. You could also probably ask that question to several other D5 GM's as well in regards to avoiding the injury bug this season. If you want to win a championship you definitely need to have a little luck and catch some breaks along the way. If we were to lose Klay Thompson that would obviously be a huge loss for us. However, reports out of G-State appear to be positive and sounds like Klay could play in Game 1 vs Cleveland. We would be shocked if this ended up being a season ending injury.

Houston is a top market, he wants to be in a top market. He is playing with the best young player in the game that isn't named Anthony Davis. He has a former MVP PG. I don't see why he would leave. We will do all we can to keep him

Didn't say Love will leave. Just asked to confirm or deny the rumor as far as he could without giving up his future plans. Also, you know most rumors are false.
