Player Release Guidelines
- Team rosters must not fall below 12 players when a player is released, and must not exceed 15.
- Players who are released must still have their remaining salary paid by their team.
- The contracts of release players can be traded without the player counting towards one of that team's roster positions.
- The Amare Stoudemire Rule: Players on expiring contracts cannot be released after the Expiring Players Deadline (April 19th in-game).
