I accept it, it increases my depth and birdman is a good big man to come from the bench especially to upgrade our defense...

It pains me to do this, but I am finding it extremely hard to turn this team into a contender right now. So, as a result, it's time to rebuild. The Nets 2014 1st might be worth something since most of his team is old, but who really knows? Right now, I get cap flexibility, more cap room next year to resign Jordan Hill with Nazar's expiring contract, and become less competitive now....which helps my 2012 1st! I also was a fan of Cole Aldrich out of college and have not given up on him yet, who knows maybe he'll break the rotation? The Nets get two guys that will help his bench become one of the best in the league. All I have left to say is nice trading with you Nets and BROOKYLN!!!!!

Nice trade. I can see why both teams would like to do this.
C Chris "Birdman Anderson" Andersen ;D

I fixed it in the trade, but he hasn't been convicted yet and in America you are innocent until proven guilty

Nets seem like a pretty capable GM thus far, team looks pretty damn competitive on paper, and all the key pieces are back at least next season, with Westbrook there for like 5 years...that 2014 1st shouldn't be TOO good. I'll accept it.

Not a fan of NJN moving another 1st rounder but this trade is not really rejectable, I accept

I'm going to reject this. Brooklyn is not only taking on Anderson's terrible contract, but is giving up a young player AND a potentially great 1st rounder.

4 some million a year isn't really a terrible contract for a guy who does what Birdman can do. It's more or less what he should be getting.
Aldrich is hard to put any ACTUAL value on...I happen to like him but we've only ever really seen him in garbage time. I put almost no value on him.
As for the 1st, all the trades around the league have made 2014 1sts worth almost nothing it seems like. I think this may be one of the closer to fair deals out there involving a 2014 1st.

Last time I checked, Birdman plays 15 minutes a game and is about to turn 34. Not really 1st rounder material IMO.
Anyway, it doesn't matter, it looks like this trade passed anyway.

And still put up about 5/5 and a block and a half. Couple him with Barnes, both pretty good bench guys, very good bench guys actually. Nazr and Aldrich have almost no real value, IMO. Aldrich just a little "potential" value in there but yea. The 1st is the main thing the Nets move, and 2014's are flying around like nothing these days.

Having known Marcelo in the old D5, I know he's going to stick around for the long term, so the inclusion of the 2014 1st doesn't deter me from accepting as it would with other GMs.
Also it's good to see Sacramento are looking to the future.
I accept. Trade passed.
