Anyone got any ideas on why the 11th player on my depth chart with the position sg/sg is getting 28 minutes a game, and ray mccallum who is in front of him with the position pg/sg is getting DNPs? This is the 4th or 5th time in a row its happened.

I've never paid enough attention to it to know. I feel like positions do matter, but I've never tested it objectively.

so you just think that a guy gets subbed out when his rating is lowered by fatigue enough that it is lower than the substitutes overall? No, that's not what I'm saying. My point is that NBA Live doesn't care that a player is 9th on the depth chart compared to 11th on the depth chart. Players from 6-12 are just a pool of players for the game to draw from. Ray McCallum (9th on your depth chart) has a 70 rating. John Jenkins (11th on your depth chart) has a 73 rating. John Jenkins will play more because he has a higher rating, and that's what matters to NBA Live, your ordering is ignored by the computer. This is a game that breaks ties based on the alphabet. It's very simple. I don't believe it has the complexity in this situation to do anything other than pick players to play based on position and rating.
