Spurs Trade:
73 Mitch McGary $1,032,200 $1,078,700 $1,125,100 $1,967,800 $2,876,923
Jazz Trade:
Golden State Warriors 2015 #1 Orlando Magic 2015 #2 San Antonio 2015 #2
As Gm of SA we accept. McGary is a nice young addition, but not in our plans. Utah has been bothering me for about two weeks to get him. I almost had a trade before I traded with Orlando. Glad things worked out this way though. I am all about my future picks right now. Still not going to tank. But in this trade I get a first rounder that is not my own in 2015, in addition to two 2nd rounders in 2015...ONE of which belong to US!
Wish Mitch the best and I wish Utah the best with that fine team he is assembling in Utah.

Mcgary will never be a starter on Thunder in real life because of Kanter. Jazz is giving away a 1st rounder and 2 2nd round picks for a player who just played last February.

Giving up a late first and two seconds for a player that would've been a lottery pick last year had he not got caught smoking weed seems even to me

I don't understand your problem. He plays pretty damn good off the bench. He was a first rounder and should have been selected higher except for off the court issues. He has shown he can play in the NBA nightly and he's consistent when give consistent minutes. So wipe out the first because he was drafted higher than GS pick. He's NBA ready..and can only get better. I think the trades fair Where do you have room to speak? Tony Allen? Asik? I think you made out well on trades. I actually wanted more.
You can't improve if your trades all even or you lose more in trades. Someone has to be a winner and a loser. In this trade I see more equal o And a smudge of +...

Trades have more value "In this league"...
Because some gms believe so...not all. And I've seen you play both sides just to get your way in a trade or apply pressure in a trade when trying to get a reject on other teams trades...
Not this time George..

I agree on the picks, looking back :/ , but I don't think McGary is that bad. I don't think one of the seconds is necessary, but it's what JR wanted and Adam was willing to give it to him for McGary, so the value to each guy matches up. JR wins (IMO), but Adam gets what he wants, so it's a fair deal.

I'm actually a bit more concerned with JR possibly giving up too early on McGary, but those seconds look pretty early.
Accept.

I'm with Danny, the chances of there being someone as good as McGary in the late 1st round this year aren't great, but not enough to reject.
I accept.
