That is once again stretching it J. Who did we start off as a great starter? The highest ratings are what, 80 or 81? And those two guys look more or less deserving of them now IMO. I get Parker is hurt but he was coming around before then. Maybe it is just disagreeing on terminology but "great starters" are like 83-86 guys. We started off the two best guys who MANY had thought were star level players as solid, mid level starters. IMO we got those two right more or less, it just took both some time to prove it, which is what I've been preaching on some of these guys - they need time! You know the only reason my idea doesn't have more support is because there are a bunch of playoff teams in the league who are using over inflated rooks on thier rosters. What playoff teams have use-able rookies besides Stauskus, McDermott, and Warren? Also, if you don't think Wiggins deserves an 80 you can suck on deeez nuts

Hornets-Wiggins Rockets- Warren, Nurkic Timberwolves- KJ Mcdaniels Milwaukee- McDermott NY- Wroten Philly- Stauskas Suns- Lavine
Some not playoff teams but that's a lot of guys who aren't doing dick in real life who are doing dick in the game. Plus Adrien Payne would be on a playoff team if Ian didn't have all the draft picks last season.

Almost starting to think you are just trolling people too. January he put up 20, 5, 2.5, 1.4steals, 0.6blk, shot 47.1/34/79 on the %'s. He's a rookie and his stats are a bit all over the map but he's improving and his season stats are 15, 4, 2 with over a steal and over half a block on 43/36/74 for the %'s. Nurkic is doing quite well himself. I voted to leave him at a 73 (a 73, you are complaining about a dude at a 73? Really???) but he honestly could go up slightly, I just think he mainly needs readjusted and maybe up a point or two. He's putting up around 8 and 8 with almost a steal and a block and a half as a starter, also shooting 72% from the line. His FG% is way off as a starter but overall, he's at 7/6/1 with almost a steal and over a block a game...shooting about 45% and 68% from the line. 73 is fine and you are complaining? Dude really? McDaniels at a 75 is not that bad. Could he be a 74? Maybe. I dunno, he does a lot of things decently well. 9 pt, 4reb, 1ast, almost a steal, over a block, 29% from 3 isn't good but he needs rating points there, 76% from the line is good. I don't think a 75, if applied correctly, is a bad rating at all. Warren hasn't had a chance to prove anything, one way or the other. In DLeague he looks like what we thought he would be, but I am reserving judgement until he gets to really play in the NBA. McDermott has only made it into 21 games at under 10 mpg. Can't really judge him either IMO but I know we disagree on that in some way. You are comfortable judging on nothing, I'm not. Wroten got his rating in a thread not that long ago. If it's bad you only have yourself to blame for not convincing people he wasn't as good as you think he is. He got a 75. Why are you fussing over this? Dude averaged 17/3/5 with a steal and a half. 75 is fine. Yes it was on a bad team but 75 is seriously just fine. Stauskas has played a whopping 14mpg, again personally, don't want to judge much on that, but I did put him down for a lower rating in his thread b/c he should have a higher 3pt %. That's the main reason for me. I like the 85% from the line though, I think the shot is still in there...Kings have been a mess though so we'll see with George Karl in town. And LaVine, again rated a 75, big whoop, that's a bench player. Guess what he is IRL? A bench player. Seems A OK to me! As a starter in 29mpg he put up 10/3/5 and over a steal...80% from the line, only about 27% from 3 but you do need to account for that in his ratings. It sure looks to me like you're making a BIG stink over what, 8 players total, most of which are fine and I really don't think there's a legit argument to change them, and then 2-3 others haven't played enough to judge them. Not sure what you're after here but basically you have maybe proven that Stauskas should be lowered a tiny bit.

The simple solution is to do what is being done here. If you don't like the rookie rating, put up a thread to change it. There is no rule stating that they have to stay the same over the first year.

Besides, you really going to argue that Nurkic is an over inflated rookie?
