Current Rating: 86 Suggested Rating: 82
Stats: 33.0 mpg, 16.7 ppg, 4.0 apg, 3.6 rpg, 0.9 spg, 0.1 bpg, 51.5 FG%, 34.8 3P%, 77.1 FT%
Dragic got his 86 based on his great season last year, but this season he has regressed and Bledsoe has become the Suns best player. His FG% is the only thing that looks good this year, but it's because 41% of his field goals are layups or dunks. From three feet away back out to the three point line he only shoots 39% from the floor.

86 this is an overreaction since he just has to share the ball more than he used to with Thomas now on his team. He is still essentially the same dynamic explosive player

The Suns would not be as good without him. Bledsoe is my fav player, but he is a scorer and rebounder...thomas is just like Dragic but they both are very skilled pgs. I dont know what thomas is rated but they should be rated the same.
Dragic 85 Thomas 85 Bledsoe 85
Might as well say i like them all the same.
My rating for him 85.

That field goal percent for a PG is crazy. 85 Because more than 40% of his shots are layups/dunks. From 3 feet away from the basket or farther he's shooting 36.7% this season.

I don't really see why it matters. I feel like that is nit picking on how he plays. Just because he is a point guard doesn't mean he has to shoot a jumper every time. He can still be an 85 with lower outside shooting rating than others.

But I think that's something different to having great shooting ability.

I guess my point is that no one ever said he was a great shooter, but he shouldn't be penalized when he plays to his strengths.

Fair enough. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I would maybe feel differently if he wasn't in the situation he is in.

I'm a pretty big Dragic fan myself. I can tell you guys that his ratings are crazy maxed out, very possibly too much so, even on his strengths. We just updated him not long ago. Going back to my post about AD & Kawhi in Kawhi's thread, maybe it is too soon, but I feel like Dragic's raise was also a bit too high considering his game. We have his strengths and weaknesses very well laid out, but I really think he could come down a point or two and still be exactly who even people who love his game think he should be.

Keep him the same, if the Heat didn't lose Bosh they'd be a really scary 1st round matchup in the East because of his addition.
