Kobe Bryant has decided to re-sign with the LA Lakers for the following deal: Year 1: $22,500,000 Year 2: $22,500,000 No teams submitted bids except for the Lakers, and Kobe couldn't see himself leaving anyway. I'm sure some will say- "this is too low compared to real life" - consider, though, that this league's re-signing is happening an entire year later than his real-life re-signing. I doubt the real Lakers are giving him $30 mil if they had to do it again with his injury problems. Also, as there was absolutely zero market for Kobe from any other bidders, he really had no choice but to accept the Lakers' offer. Regardless, Kobe is excited to return to LA and hopes to continue to have success with the organization in the future.
