Minnesota Timberwolves Trade: 79 Michael Beasley $6,790,640 $7,258,960 $7,727,280 76 Luke Ridnour $3,680,000 $4,000,000 $4,320,000 76 Brad Miller $4,752,000 $5,104,000
Total: $15,222,640
San Antonio Spurs Trade: 79 Stephen Jackson $9,256,500 $10,059,750 79 J.J. Hickson $2,155,365 $3,357,569 74 Jonny Flynn $3,414,720
Total: $14,826,585
I accept. Hickson/Flynn dont play much for me. I lose a beast in Jackson, but Beastly will give me the defense my team needs. I also get a backup pg and a big man I was needing. Arenas can play the 2 now and Fernandez the 3 as my offensive Sf when beasley rests.

I thought this was an English Premier League game at first.
Two talented young guys: Beasley = Hickson
And then some older pieces in between.
I like this trade guys, although I think Minny gets the advantage, I accept.

I Agree to this trade.
I've been looking to get rid of Miller's contract, and Ridnour doesn't really fit the long-term vision of this team either. Plus all 3 guys I trade away have 2 years or longer on their contracts (3 for Ridnour and Beasley. I get back no more than 2 years on any of them, and Flynn expires.
Hickson showed a LOT of good things when used correctly in Portland for the last 19 games of the season, and his time in Cleveland was pretty nice too.
Stephen Jackson will allow me to have a more traditional lineup, rather than Beasley at the SG. I also may look to trade SJax, as he's a little old for this team, but his leadership won't be bad if I don't end up moving him.
Projected Lineup: Hickson/Pekovic Love/Seraphin/ Williams/Vesely SJax/Webster Rubio/Barea

I like the fact you mentioned Hickson's time in Cleveland a lot of people seem to forget about those days and i think that's what he could do for your lineup. I accept

Just curious. How many votes does this need since there are only 5 TC members and one is in on this trade?

JJ Hickson is easily one of the most overrated players in the league at a 79. I still think Michael Beasley has a chance of being a star in this league.
Anyway, I accept.

Hickson's last year in Cleveland - 28 mpg - 14 and 9, close to a block a game, shot 46%. This year with the TrailBlazers - 31.6 mpg - 15 and 8 with a full block per game, shot 54%
When he sucked with the Kings, he got 18 mpg, put up like 5 and 5 with half a block & steal per game...and shot terribly. The system didn't fit his skills.
Anyway, looks like trade is approved, woot.
