In my oppinion, it's a tough choice between Phoenix and Toronto:
Phoenix has managed to get Jeremy Lin and Josh Smith, two great players doing only two trades. They traded away old pieces like Nash and Hill and renewed themselves with a good team that's going to grow up a lot in next seasons.
But i think that the best improvement was Toronto, that surprised everyone going to a win-now plan. With almost nothing, he managed to get Lamar Odom, MWP, Eric Gordon, Steve Nash and Shannon Brown, a great starting 5, the only thing that he needs now is bench depth.
In my honest oppinion, i improved the Bobcats well in bench depth. I have a rotation of: Kemba Walker/Andre Miller (my strongest part) Kirk Hinrich/Reggie Williams (my weakest part) Travis Outlaw/Nick Young (great) Byron Mullens/Jamario Moon (good) Bismack Biyombo/Zaza Pachulia (not so good)

Thank you, to be honest i really was not going into win mode, I was just able to get talent for youth. My only mission was to go out and get that young talent, which is Gordon.

I think it is definitely Toronto, but only because this is a sim league. In real life his team would be in a pretty bad position. Odom and Artest aren't even good any more and Nash for the first time in his career finally showed his age this past season. He is still an elite point guard but is only a few years from retirement.

That is the thing i Kept in mind Denver age, with Gordan here, and Jonas V coming next season, then with cap flexibility in the upcoming years I think i'm in good shape. Realistically I can always trade Nash for a young PG at any point.
My core realistically is Gordon 23 ,Jonas V 20..then i have the gamble pieces such as GIlbert and Odom who could potentially turn back the clock.

Well any team with Jonas Valanciunas on it is a good team in my book.

Lol the day i get Jonas V, I will no hesitate to pull the plug, even before he steps on the NBA floor. I'm offering you Mcgree for Jonas V....its a gamble, but its also a test on your part.

I would probably accept that lol. If Jonas ended up being a bust I could always remember the good old days when he was tearing it up at the U19 World Championships.

Bust or not, the kid has high expectation, realistically he should be okay as he has heart and hustle.

I would say it would be the Pistons GM. He was able to move stuckey and gordon (who both have bad long-term contracts) for Derrick favors and Devin harris. He also got OJ mayo for not that much also and got a first round out of Prince. Basically he took a bad roster with a lot of overpriced players and built a team with a great future (Monroe, Knight, and Favours = future beast).
Also shout out to Toronto for building a good team when he had very little to work with.
Another guy would be the Nets GM who was able to get Westbrook for Williams when it was obvious Williams would not stay with the Nets.
The Hornets getting James Harden was a savvy deal too.

Thanks for the nomination, Lucas.. XD Just a bit lucky, I guess. But I agree with Toronto. It's near impossible what he's done for the Raptors.

Toronto definitely did well to improve. Albeit, risky, but definitely improved. But I think the Suns just really did better - stealing the guards from New York and getting Josh Smith put them in a far better position that they were in at the start.
Not going to lie, I definitely downgraded, but for the better. Got myself a young guard in Marshon Brooks that has one of the most important abilities that a 2-Guard can have (The ability to create his own shot), a few picks and an expiring that I flipped for one of the leagues most underrated lead guards. Hope Avery Johnson gets fired so that Jordan Williams actually has a chance to pan out.

Yea man I think your team would probably be a beast team in like 2 years and playoff team next year.
Definitely my vote for GM of the year so far.

With everything consider my vote goes to Knicks, I know his team was already stack, but to grab Dwight Howard and then grab Chris Paul was a genius approach. Realistically he now has the best PG and C in there league. He did improve his team significantly for now and the future.

I would agree but NYK GM spot has changed twice and the first guy got Dwight and the second guy got Paul. While both were excellent trades they weren't done by the same person. Someone like yourself or Detroit who actually started with a shit roster and were able to turn into decent rosters should be the ones being considered for GM of the year.

Can't believe I forgot Detroit. stealing Mayo while getting rid of Charlie V's bad contract is probably one of the best moves so far.

I am torn between 2 teams, Toronto and Phoenix.
While Toronto started with less and they have assembled an excellent "sim league" roster given where they started, Phoenix is much more likely to have their deals eventually turn into a championship contender.
Phoenix definitely had more to start with but they have a much bigger window to attain success with their newly acquired players.
Again, they are 1-2 for me but as of now, my vote goes to Phoenix.
