Current Rating: 77
Suggested Rating: 80+
Im not getting into details of how he has done or what improvements he has made or stats. I will leave that up to the league. I will put my rating in after getting more thoughts and opionions. Just trying to get my team ratings updated for the upcoming season so I do not have to have issues midseason once again.
Please rate fairly..
Thanks SA GM

Lance Stephenson: 13.8 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 4.6 apg, 49.1% fg Gerald Green: 15.8 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 1.5 apg, 44.5% fg
Just curious, why do you believe Green should be an 80+ whereas Stephenson should only be a 79?

These are pretty dumb. You've just copy and pasted the whole little thing about each player, given their current rating and that's it. Then a yahoo link of their stats. IMO, if you want us to take these seriously, give a simple argument as to why each player should be raised, or even lowered, and then tell us what you think of each.
In politics, it is the candidate job to tell us why we should pick him over someone else. In here, its kind of the same thing, the OP tells us why a player should be rated as such. And it is our job, to decipher the argument and then vote.
So until you provide and argument, the rating stays the same for me. 77

I've followed Green for many years. One of my favorite ballers. Tell me he does less and that he hasn't earned at least an 80 with what he does on the court and off. Lance is a tough nose kid. With maturity he will be a all-around starter/all star, because of his skill ceiling he WILL do that sometime next season or the next. Green worked to get back and let his game thrive from over seas game. With time or the same Lance can be rated higher. But until then.. At least to me, Green is just that much better. That will change with time. But that is how I see it for now.

I just want my players rated. I don't have to do the work. Their ratings are decided by the league. That's what the changes are about. Getting the leagues ratings updated. Don't not rate my players because j don't want to go into specifics. I don't have to. If I got paid to do it or I made money I would. But I have two kids and a life. I want my team up to date and that's what I'm doing. I'll post as needed.
Sorry I don't like to get into conversations. I run my team. That is all I have to do.
Thanks
JR

Also I said 80+. Around 80 is fair. The league will average the rest.

I'll go 80 based on this last season.
He's taking much better shots now. Only 17% of his shots were 16 feet to three point line (deep 2s) whereas earlier in his career that number was 30-35%. He's also shooting the 3 ball at a 40% clip.
The increased BBIQ definitely shows in his results.

77. This dude is a bench player on a non-playoff team. He was in the D-league very recently. Just because the Suns gave him the go-ahead to shoot any shot he wants doesn't make him a good player.

I don't see any reason why he can't start at a 79 next season.

We do it because we like to bullshit about basketball and get competitive. If you don't want to do it there are quite a few people on the waiting list for a team.

He wasted more time explaining why he didn't give a rating than if he'd just written a little sentence or two or copy pasted stats from last season to compare them to this seasons. He could have done that about each of these players saved more time than the effort he will expend reading and then responding to these posts we are making now.

Anyway, I like Lance more than Green. I think the league generally overvalues points and undervalues rebounds and assists (especially assists), as well as defense. I put Lance at an 82, I think Green should be a 79. 79.
