Accept.
I'm giving up alot in Durant and Brooks but I just can't pass on Bron here. I don't really care about the pick.
Looking at a lineup right now of:
Perkins Cousins LeBron Sefolosha Tyreke
And also have another deal in the works that would send out Tyreke for a true PG. I like our chances.

i accept. im giving up the best player in the league for the second best player. i will also have a 1st round pick. also i will have durant on his prime and his 3 year contract that doesn't have a player option. we all saw what leBron can do on his prime, but for now i cant really imagine what's gonna happen on durants' prime.

I'm at a friends house away from home right now but guys, this is nuts, wtf?
I think this is a trade in which a GMs tenure length may come as a factor too, but the trade just makes no sense. It's like Houston and Orlando trading Shaq for Hakeem or something.
I think for the betterment of the league id reject.

Troy is the master of coming to a fair deal... and then insisting that you throw in a draft pick.
Guess I'll throw the David Stern stamp of rejection on this one. Your old avatar was better anyway

I actually see LeBron as an upgrade over Durant though. His defense stats must be higher to make up those 2 points right?
So then I lose Marshon Brooks, I move Sefolosha into a starting role who I like for defence because we can score plenty. Then Matt Barnes (who is getting DNPs right now) takes over Sefolosha's bench role.
And the pick is gonna be like 30th overall.
Give it some more thought before rejecting!

Reject. I'm not totally against a Lebron for Durant swap...let's let managers get the player they like more maybe? But I don't see why a 1st is needed when Durant is arguably the better piece to own.
Durant should still just be a 99, in what way is he a worse player than LeBron?

Durant should still just be a 99, in what way is he a worse player than LeBron? LeBron's still a better overall athlete and more valuable on defence. Offense is basically a wash this year btw: LeBron 27 ppg on 57% - 92.5 team pace KD 31.5 ppg on 51% - 97.6 team pace LeBron 63.4% from 2 / 37.1% from 3 Durant 54.7% from 2 / 41.0% from 3

I don't know how the trade is unfair....I would give up KD and my left nut for Lebron.

It's not unfair, although Durant has more trade value because of the number of years he has left ahead of him. It's more that it's completely unrealistic. We have rejected lots of trades in the past for that reason. I (and we) consider the trade detrimental to the league as a whole. It's similar to the trade committee closely scrutinising trades by teams that have no talent. For instance the Wizards are aggressively shopping the only asset they have (2014 1st) right now, it's a stupid thing to do though so, for the betterment of the league, I know I will personally make sure that the Wiz 1st doesn't get traded for anything other than a good return, otherwise no new GM would want to take them over in the future. Coming back to the main reason though; the lack of realism. Before the league even started I wrote the Dynasty Five General Info that says: Tim Duncan ended up leaving because his contract was not renewed, but this applies to Durant and Lebron.

Durant has more total years but I'm guessing his prime won't match LeBron's which is a top 3 prime of all time and is still going. Plus I think KD's numbers are inflated a bit because of Westbrook being out. So basically we are gambling on primes here, but if you guys don't allow it oh well.
Plus if this was reality LeBron would realize he's stuck with a heavily declining Wade who can't even play back to backs and might be done soon, Nash who won't play 30 minutes in a game again, and Amare who sucks and makes 21 million. He'd love to come play with Cousins and Reke.

Durant blows him away from the line, and is a better 3pt shooter (has proven that for years). LeBron better athlete, Durant better shooter. I really think they both deserve 99's. I think they're at that incredible point where if you broke everything down and gave them appropriate ratings everywhere, maybe LeBron ends up at like a 105 and Durant at like a 102-103, but since our #'s only go to 99, they should both get 99.
