In this trade I would be giving up
79 - Luis Scola - $8,591,793 - $9,408,208 - $10,224,623 - $11,041,038
78 - Kyle Lowry - $5,750,000 - $5,750,000 - $6,210,000 + 2012 HOU first rounder
69 - Patrick Patterson - $1,959,960 - $2,096,760 - $3,105,302 - $4,319,474
the LAL would be giving back
89 - Pau Gasol - $18,714,150 - $19,000,000 - $19,285,850
70 - Darius Morris - $473,604
We would also swap our 2012 first rounders (My original HOU pick)
Houston: Incoming: 19,187,754 Outgoing: 16,301,753
LAL: Incoming:16,301,753 Outgoing: 19,187,754
For the Houston Rockets we are extremely excited to be able to team up the Gasol brothers to make a formidable post duo. We envision a type of impact on our team like Spurs had in the late 90s with Duncan-Robinson.
There will be a press conference shortly introducing both Gasol brothers . Also to all my rocket fans we are not done improving this team.
ALSO there is some changes with ownership and that will be announced in the upcoming days following the purchase.

I accept, I get a solid draft pick in HOU one which I think will be in lottery.
BUT in addition to that I get Scola who is a solid PF and a potential allstar PG in Kyle Lowry who is getting better and better as each year progresses (I have Sessions but I plan to move him soon for SF).

I was going to say that this wasn't a good trade for the Rockets, but then i read that he's teaming the Gasol's together! That's awesome! Great trade!

I accept
Houston getting that star big man they've been looking for ever since Yao also teaming him up with his brother. Although he's paying a steep price, he benefits from getting the best player in the trade
Lakers rid themselves of a bad contract (Blake) and get more depth in the starting five getting that coveted PG they've been looking forever for to pair next to Kobe and a good replacement with Scola.

Can the teams post their salaries after this trade? I don't believe it works under the 125% rule does it?

Can the teams post their salaries after this trade? I don't believe it works under the 125% rule does it? Yes it wouldn't work so we are reworking this trade to make it work.

I accept, there are better deals that I have been receiving now for Gasol, but I am not backing out of this one, not because it's a good deal that I have with HOU, but gotta maintain my integrity in trading with another GM.
Patterson Morris added to make finances work.
