I'm doing this trade for multiple reasons. I like it because Kanter can play starting center and Garnett can move back to his more natural position at Power Forward. Also Kanter's long term contract gives me some long term stability with Garnett and Allen expiring this year causing some uncertainty.

i'd like to know why Utah accepted this trade
even with a disappointing season, Kanter is still a great prospect and Burks isn't bad. Brandon Bass and Pavlovic aren't enough for them both in my oppinion.

After Bass' great season IRL I'm reluctant to accept this considering he has an opt out clause and will most likely use it to fetch more $ in the FA market. UTA also has Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap ahead of him on the depth charts so it'd be unlikely that he'd return. Basically UTA would be giving up the 2 best player prospects in this deal in return for 1 year of Bass. I'd like to hear from UTA before I make a decision.

My opinion, Brandon Bass doesn't seem to be a contract-year player. He turned his opportunity in Dallas to a bigger contract, but his numbers didn't sink the following year for lack of effort. That being said, even though I doubt his numbers will sink the next year, I believe this is about it for him. And like Chicago said, to give up two of your best prospects for a career role-player?

JAZZ's is very optimistic that this trade will improve its bench depth and as well as it's defense on the back court, knowing that KANTER and BURKS aint contributing much this season despite being a good prospect for the team... JAZZ just can't wait for their prime... BASS , PAVLOVIC and HOLLINS were already been tested... It's a must win this season hopefully, after this trade...!

I don't want to be a trouble maker or anything, if i was from the trade comittee i would have accepted the trade because it's not anything crazy, it's just a trade where Boston gets the best here.

the team can't go on 80 games with this. BASS can definitely contribute and with PAVLOVIC 3's and defensive skills JAZZ well surely become more competitive on the upcoming games and more likely in the playoffs.

I can see what you guys are saying but I'm surprised that a player like Enes Kanter has generated this much scrutiny really, it's not like this is going to affect Utah hugely and it's a nice fit for my team.

84 Al Jefferson 84 Paul Millsap 80 Gordon Hayward 82 Ben Gordon 82 Rodney Stuckey
I just can't squeeze KANTER and BURKS in and assume that they will eventually climb their way up in the roster. Indeed, both of them are the team's best prospect. But the team believes we already had the best starting five. I need a proven role player/s that will embrace its role and compliment the talent of my starters.

I think Kanter is going to turn out to be a very good player in a few years and I hate to see Utah throw him away like this. Alas, both sides have presented their case and Utah wants to win now so I'll accept
