2013 Rookie RatingsI've got to create the 2013 draft class and it'd be great if you guys could help me with the player ratings. Please structure your replies in the format of the player's name, overall rating and outline which skills you think players are good at and which they are not so good at. So whilst Anthony Bennett's 3PT is low, he's nevertheless got lots of STRength.Skill areas:
Offensive FG - Field Goal Shooting 3PT - 3 Point Shooting FT - Free Throws PASS - Passing skill DRIBL - Dribbling DUNK - Dunking INSIDE - Inside Scoring AWARE - General Offensive Awareness
Defensive STL - Stealing BLK - Blocking AWARE - General Defensive Awareness
Rebounding REB - General Rebounding Skill
Physical SPEED QUICK JUMP STR - Strength FATIG - Determines the length of time a player plays. Next to each player's name is their NBA 2k14 rating (00) in brackets, some of which definitely need changing! First RoundAnthony Bennett (76) Victor Oladipo (76) Otto Porter (74) Cody Zeller (68) Alex Len (57) Nerlens Noel (72) Ben McLemore (72) Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (70) Trey Burke (73) C. J. These ratings have the same problems with all the 2k ratings. They are based a lot on hype and they're very NCAA focused. Also there is way too much range. For NBA Live having a rating below 70 means you are awful and low 60s are pretty much unheard of.

Otto Porter shot 49.8% FG and 35.5% 3pt in college, and hasn't even had a chance to show anything IRL yet.
How are his 3pt and FG a weakness? He's taken 45 shots total, 7 were 3's, you can't be judging him and dropping him 6 points based on that lol.

Sorry, 4 point drop. I still think 72 is probably much more fair for Otto, but 74 really isn't bad with what he showed in college.

I do agree with Alex, some of these are a joke and not applicable at all to Live.
I only put in ones I have slight differences of opinion on, or things to add after watching these players, compared to Alex's ratings anyway.
First Round Anthony Bennett (76) Suggested Rating: 72 Pos: STR / DUNK Neg: FG / 3PT / FATIG
Otto Porter (74) Suggested Rating: 72
C. J. McCollum (72) Suggested Rating: 72 Pos: 3PT
Giannis Antetokounmpo (60) Suggested Rating: 73 Pos: FG / REB / Def AWR Neg: STR
Mason Plumlee (61) Suggested Rating: 72 Pos: FG / DAWARE / REB Neg:
Tim Hardaway, Jr. (69) Suggested Rating: 72 Pos: FG / 3PT / FT / Dunk / Jump Neg: REB / PASS

Surprised Antetokounmpo and Hardaway Jr. are only 71's Both could probably be somewhere up around 74 but I also think overall this is a much better list than 2k's when it came out. We'll just have to keep an eye on rookies by the end of the season and see who deserves a 3+ point boost.
