Right, but a lot of people on the waiting list never come back. In all honesty, and I hate to say this because I want to pick, but you should stop the draft and wait for a GM to get in place. I know we did this last year with Washington and Meyers Leonard, but Charlotte CANNOT afford another crappy pick. I agree. Let's not punish a franchise b/c we don't have a GM. If we can't find someone to take the team over, I think Ian or the Committee should make the pick for the team. Thought James Kay was taking over team

Charlotte has 5 first rounders next year, they'll be ok. It just makes them further un-desireable at the moment. I understand having a clock and doing the 5th best player thing, but if the team doesn't even have a GM then we're just punishing the league IMO. Are we using this list? dynasty5ive.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rookiedraft&action=display&thread=24845th best player would be Noel, which wouldn't be that bad of a pick

I suppose that's the list, only one I see. I just think that Ian or the CM's should take a look at his team and make the pick for him. Noel may very well be the proper pick but I don't want it to be arbitrary, that's all.

5 picks down from #3 is 8th pick, which is Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Charlotte needs either a Center, Small Forward or Shooting Guard. Since people are "up in arms" about the idea of Charlotte getting a shitty pick, why don't we give them C - Cody Zeller? Zeller was picked for the Bobcats in real life, isn't high on anyone's draft lists, plays at a position that Charlotte needs. It's certainly not short-changing the Bobcats. If James Kay returns and does take on the Bobcats job, he can change the decision (so long as he doesn't take a player that's been picked in the meantime) if he wants.

Can we just put up Alex Len at #4 and Anthony Bennett at #5 and move on to the 6th pick?

With the fourth pick in the 2013 NBA draft, Orlando selects Anthony Bennett, out of UNLV! A huge steal in my opinion, filling a much needed hole as a truer PF than Beasley. Now we grow younger, and continue our rebuild with a long term starter with high potential to be a 20-10 guy.

Orlando has until 9pm GMT tomorrow to make the 5th pick.
Afterwards it's 12 hours per pick until the end of the first round.

I'll be online in the morning, but will be gone like ALL DAY tomorrow. Back on tomorrow night for sure, but want to know if my clock starts over? I know who I will pick, BUT, I may trade the pick.
Please let me know ASAP, I'll be online int he morning to check the verdict on extended clock after trade. I won't hold this up long, just asking for a little time b/c a very interesting and unexpected offer came at me as soon as I got the pick, but now that guy has signed off.
