The Detroit Piston trades:
Tayshaun Prince (79)---$6,292,135---$6,764,045---$7,235,955---$7,707,865
Total: $6,292,135
to the Brooklyn Nets for:
Johan Petro(70)---$3,250,000---$3,500,000 Shelden Williams(70)---$1,027,424 1st round pick 2012
Total: $4,277,424
-----------------------
I accept, I'm getting a good guy that will start for my team, and it gives me the possibility to work on other trades to improve even more my starting lineup.

Pistons Accept.
Prince has stayed his welcome just a little bit too much in Detroit, and its time for him to leave. This trade gives me some cap flexibility and, what should be a decently high pick in this years draft.
Updated Pistons Starting 5: Monroe > Favors > Jerebko > Mayo > Harris

I'm skeptical of the Nets giving up their first round pick in a fairly deep draft especially for an over the hill Prince, I'd like to hear more on Brooklyn's plan for the season

hmmm, I read some of the other trades that were posted and I noticed that this trade commitee really needs to be convinced to accept a trade... lets see, Prince is already an upgrade on my starting 5 and as I already said, it gives me more pieces to work and improve even more...a draft pick is nothing guaranteed, while a good player can give you the chance to work now, not in the future...my plan here is to give up a pick that is high now but can turn into a low pick in the future if I can make the right moves along the season

I gotta say I don't like this either.
Prince is a 32 year old guy who's on the downside of his career. He has very little trade value so wont really make much of an improvement if you plan to re-trade him and you've already got Gerald Wallace at Small Forward so he'll hardly make any difference in your W/L ratio. I just don't understand it.
That being said, this deal is only a bad one depending on how your pick turns out. Plus you proved yourself to be a long term GM back in the old D5 days so I'm willing to accept based on what I hear from the rest of the committee.

DUDE I did not know this is same guy, isn't he the GM that upset SAS in first season of sim league.
he had MIN vs SAS and won 7 game series.
definitely giving him benefit of doubt.

I don't think you're getting ripped off you're getting a proven player for a possible bust. If Brooklyn wanted he could put wallace at PF and start prince at SF. He also gets a couple million in cap space. I mean its not that bad of a trade especially with Brooklyn's improvements already. I'll accept.
